Yan Daoren, whose name is unknown, was a Taoist priest at Jingle Palace in Wudang during the Ming Dynasty. According to the "Junzhou Annals" of the Qing Dynasty, Yan Xian practiced in the Jingle Palace and later passed away in the Canglang Pavilion. His life story and the dates of his birth and death are all unknown. In the Canglang Pavilion, there is a patchwork garment left behind (Note: The Taoist patchwork garment is made by sewing old pieces of cloth with fine needles).
