Li Long 'an was from Sunjiawan, Sanqu District, Jun County (now Liuping Town). In his childhood, he became a monk in the Imperial Scripture Hall of the Taihe Palace on Wudang Mountain. His master of ceremonies is ominous. In the early years of the Republic of China, he was elected as the head of the Imperial Hall of Classics (or the abbot of the Taihe Palace). In the second year of the Republic of China (1912 AD), Xiangyang Pacifying Shi Zhoufengsheng colluded with the British and Japanese powers and led soldiers to Wudang Mountain. They planned to blow up the Golden Hall and plunder cultural relics in an attempt to make a fortune. Li Long 'an and Zhu Yuliang, another abbot of the Taihe Palace, informed the heads of all the temples on the mountain to widely distribute the "Defend the Golden Hall, Protect the Ancestral Temple, and Ensure the Peace of the World" letter to the people, and relied on local celebrities such as Luo Li 'an and other gentry. Mobilizing all the Taoists and local people in the mountain, they engaged in a life-and-death struggle against Zhou Fengsheng and other bandits. On October 18, 1912, in a fight with Zhou Fengsheng and his gang, 11 Taoists and civilians were killed or injured, but the Golden Hall was finally saved. Li Long 'an was the last person to inherit the secret recipe of the Taihe Zijin Ding medicine of Wudang Taoism since the Ming Dynasty. In 1958, 87 Taoists from various temples on Wudang Mountain participated in the "Rectification and Anti-Rebellion" campaign. Li Long 'an was labeled as a "counter-revolutionary" and imprisoned. As he had a premonition before his arrest, he entrusted his disciple, a blind Taoist priest named "Blind Grandpa", with the golden box that kept the secret recipe of the Taihe Purple Gold Ingot. In 1961, after Li Long 'an was released, he was sent to teach and work in the production team of the Salt jar (the former site of the Qingzheng Palace) behind Wudang Mountain. Later, the Health Bureau of Jun County sent a working team to Wudang Mountain to investigate Taoist medicine. Li Long 'an once disclosed the secret recipe of Taihe Zijinding to the young working team member Zeng Qingben. Who would have thought that Zeng Qingben, who regarded it as superstition, dismissed it with contempt? At the beginning of the Cultural Revolution (around 1965-1966), Li Long 'an passed away due to illness at the age of over 80. In 1968, Zeng Qingben became a member of the Xianyao School during the Cultural Revolution. Once, when he visited the Second People's Hospital of Jun County at the foot of Wudang Mountain, he talked about Taihe Zijinding No. 1 Middle School with the hospital director who had stepped aside, which drew the director's extreme attention. The two then rushed to Wudang Mountain for an investigation. Who would have thought that not only had Master Li passed away by then, but the blind Taoist had also died. The whereabouts of the secret recipe of Taihe Zijin Ding remain unknown.
