Li Helin was a well-known Taoist in the Zixiao Palace during the Republic of China era. After becoming a monk, he took Xu Benshan as his teacher and was the 16th generation disciple of the Quanzhen Longmen School. He was proficient in Wudang boxing. It is said that he once served as a dormitory officer in the Zixiao Palace. In 1929, Aisin Gioro pu 儇, the half-brother of the last emperor Aisin Gioro Puyi, whose Chinese name was Jinzitao, at the age of 24, went to Wudang Mountain to become a monk due to the premature end of his royal life and the blow of his beloved wife's death. He was filled with the sorrow of "the fall of the country and the destruction of the family". Xu Benshan always dared not take him in because of his status and only allowed him to stay as a guest. One night, Li Helin was practicing martial arts in the purple bamboo forest behind the Zixiao Palace when he was noticed by Jin Zitao. Jin then wanted to learn martial arts from Li Helin, but Li Helin did not agree. In order to learn Wudang Quan, Jin Zitao often found excuses to give Li Helin some considerable money. Li Wei raised funds to restore the temple and thus accepted them at any time. Finally, I was moved. Only then did he officially agree to teach his skills to Jin Zitao. Given Jin's status, Li Helin, under the pretext of substituting his master for his apprentice, recognized Jin as his junior apprentice. The boxing style passed down was created by Zhang Shouxing, the sixth-generation inheritor of the Wudang Longmen School during the Hongzhi period of the Ming Dynasty. It was based on Zhang Sanfeng's "Thirteen Forms of Taiji" and incorporated the "Ten Forms of Hua Tuo's Five-Character Exercises" to develop and create the "Twenty-Three Forms of Taiyi Five-Element Capture and Pouncing" (now officially named "Wudang Taiyi Five-Element Boxing" - editor). Jin Zitao learned the art from Li Helin and didn't leave the mountains to wander around until July. He was born into this art and thus developed an unbreakable bond. In 1931, He Long led the Red Third Army to enter Wudang. Li Helin, following his master's order, and several senior disciples secretly protected He Long's safety. (This martial art has now become popular in the Wudang Mountain area.) And with his master Xu Benshan, he went to the estuary at night with lightness kung Fu to steal and intercept the firearms and ammunition of the 51st Division of the Kuomintang for the Red Third Army. Later, Xu Daozong was killed by the bandit Ma Laoqi. Li Helin then wandered to a foreign land and his whereabouts were unknown.
