Zhao Kang

Zhao Kang, styled Shusheng, was from Nanyang (now Nanyang City, Henan Province). According to the "History of the Later Han Dynasty, Volume 43", during the reign of Emperor Huan (147-167 AD), Zhao Kang "secluded himself on Wudang Mountain, remaining calm and composed, and passed on the scriptures." Mu (I don't know who he was referring to - the editor) was fifty years old at that time and was appointed as his disciple by letter. Little is known about Zhao Kang's life story.
