The Yellow Emperor asked, "I wish to hear the key points of the assassination." Qi Bo said to the Sun: "Diseases may rise and fall, and pricks may be shallow or deep. Each follows its own principle and never goes beyond its own way." If it goes too far, internal harm will occur; if it fails to do so, external obstruction will arise. When obstruction occurs, pathogenic factors will follow. If one cannot grasp the depth or depth, they will instead become a great thief, moving the five internal organs and suffering from serious illness later on. Therefore, diseases can be found in the hair and hair, on the skin, in the muscles, on the veins, in the tendons, in the bones, or in the marrow. Therefore, if there is no damage to the skin when the hair is pricked, the lungs will be affected internally. If the lungs are affected, autumn diseases such as warm malaria and cold syndrome will occur. If the skin of the prickle does not harm the flesh, but the flesh is injured, it will move the spleen internally. When the spleen moves, it will affect the seven months of the four seasons, causing abdominal distension, restlessness and loss of appetite. Stabbing meat does not harm the pulse; if the pulse is injured, it will stir the heart internally; if the heart stirs, it will cause summer illness and heart pain. Pricking the pulse does not harm the tendons. If the tendons are injured, the liver will be moved internally. If the liver is moved, the tendons will become loose due to heat in spring. Pricking the tendons does not harm the bones, but bone injury causes internal movement of the kidneys, and kidney movement leads to winter ailments such as distension and lower back pain. The bone-chilling bone does not damage the marrow, but if the marrow is injured, the fatty acid will be eliminated. Even if the body is dissolved, it will not be removed.
