Taking a scientific bath is beneficial to health

Not taking a bath scientifically can also bring many adverse effects to one's health. What are the scientific requirements for taking a bath? 1. Not taking a bath before or after meals: Before meals, the food in the stomach has been emptied, and at this time, the blood sugar level in the human body is lower than the normal level. If one takes a bath when hungry before meals, it is easy to experience hypoglycemic dizziness, and even fainting. Taking a bath immediately after a meal will cause the blood vessels on the muscle surface to dilate, and blood will fill the body surface. Meanwhile, the blood in the gastrointestinal tract will decrease, and the secretion of digestive juices will be inhibited, which will affect the digestion and absorption of food. Therefore, there has long been a saying among the people in our country that "one should not take a bath when full or hungry." 2. The water temperature should not be too high or too low: If the temperature of the bath water exceeds the normal body temperature, that is, 37℃, it is called a hot bath. A temperature that is lower than the human body temperature but higher than the skin temperature, that is, 33℃, is called a warm water bath. The water temperature is between 34℃ and 36℃, which is conducive to removing dirt and relieving itching. 37℃-39℃ is conducive to eliminating fatigue. A temperature range of 40℃ to 45℃ can relax muscles and tendons, promote blood circulation, induce sweating and relieve pain. The temperature of the bath water can be adjusted according to the season. For example, a hot bath can be chosen in winter and a warm bath in summer. If the bath water is too hot or the temperature is too high, it will not only damage the skin, but also cause the blood vessels on the skin surface to dilate, the blood flow to the body surface to increase sharply, and the blood supply to the heart and brain to decrease, often posing a risk of hypoxia and fainting. In summer, some people, especially teenagers, like to take a cold shower right after they have stopped activities or sports and are drenched in sweat. This is actually very likely to cause them to catch a cold and get heat rash. We advocate taking warm baths in summer because warm water does not cause the blood vessels in the skin to constrict and the sweat glands can remain unobstructed. 3 Bathing time: The bathing time should not be too long, especially for children and teenagers. Generally, it should not exceed half an hour. Soaking for too long will increase fatigue and cause dizziness. 4. Choice of bathing methods: Bathing methods include showering, tub bathing, and pool bathing, among which showering best meets hygiene requirements, especially for women. When men take a bath in the large bathroom pool, they should not stay in the pool for too long. After bathing, they should rinse it once with clean warm water. When taking a bath, you can use soap or medicinal soap. Avoid using laundry soap or laundry powder. Finally, rinse your skin with clean water to prevent soap scum from remaining on your skin. When taking a bath, applying soap or body wash to the palms and rubbing the skin all over the body from bottom to top is called a rubbing bath. Rubbing from bottom to top in the opposite direction can have a massage and health care effect. It can not only remove dirt from the skin surface, but also help the skin and muscles relieve fatigue, promote blood circulation in the skin, enhance the skin's respiratory function, and reduce and delay wrinkles caused by the skin sagging downward. The force of friction during a shower should not be too strong, until the skin surface slightly turns red. Avoid using hard towels or other items to rub the skin randomly to prevent scratching the epidermis.
