I once told others, "Looking up at the blue clouds and the bright sun, I don't realize it's far away." He grew up to be seven feet and two inches tall, with broad shoulders and a slender waist. His demeanor was bright and elegant, with sparse eyebrows and bright eyes. His gaze shone with light, his skin was fair and lustrous, and his ears were delicate and charming. His charm was unique. So much so that whenever Tao Gong went out of the court, passers-by would follow and comment, saying, "Tao means jade. A fairy has descended from the capital."
