Although Confucius was an ancient thinker, statesman and educator, he was not a deity. He also relied on his physical body for survival. Therefore, he was not physically inactive but always regarded physical fitness as his fundamental goal. He loves archery, driving, playing the piano and martial arts dancing very much. Confucius was highly skilled in archery. Whenever he shot an arrow, people would gather around him like a wall. In his daily teaching, he also makes archery, driving, playing music and etiquette compulsory courses for his students. At that time, the martial arts dance, which is today's martial arts activity, he also exercised his own muscles and bones during the teaching process. Interestingly, he advocated that worship could also be beneficial for fitness. In the Yuan Dynasty, there was a man named zhang 珙 who was still very strong at the age of over seventy. When someone asked him about his experience in health preservation, he said, "I always bow when I am young." "Bowing makes the limbs flex and stretch, and the qi and blood flow smoothly, so I can stay free from hand and foot diseases throughout my life." In addition, Confucius also made use of nature for physical exercise activities. He often went on outings and mountain climbing with his disciples. His footprints can be found on Mount Tai and Jingshan Mountain in southern Shandong. To this day, there is still an ancient site on the stone tablet at the First Heaven Gate of Mount Tai that reads "The Place where Confucius Ascended". It is evident that life lies in movement, just as the saying "running water does not go bad" and "hard work leads to longevity" were highly valued by Confucius.
