Yuzhen Palace was built in the tenth year of Yongle in the Ming Dynasty, with a total of 296 rooms including halls, study rooms, abbots and pavilions. Its courtyard is spacious, elegant and serene. As early as the Ming Dynasty, it was hailed as a "spiritual realm" where "incense and mist are close to the rosy clouds and celestial music flows in the air". During the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, the Yuzhen Palace was converted into the "China Wartime Children's Care Institute". The Central Committee of the Communist Party of China sent underground Party members and over 20 progressive young people to serve as teachers, protecting numerous orphans of martyrs and descendants of revolutionaries. The film "Spring Breeze and Rain" was based on this theme and shot in the Yuzhen Palace.
