The main hall of the Yuzhen Palace is also known as the "True Immortal Hall". It is of brick and wood structure, with a hip-and-gable roof and a large wooden frame with raised beams. It is the most distinctive building of the early Ming Dynasty style preserved on Wudang Mountain. After verification by experts in ancient architecture, many components of its main hall, such as beams, arches and dougong brackets, contain the construction techniques of the Yuan Dynasty. They are physical objects for studying the architectural features of the Yuan Dynasty and have high artistic and scientific value. According to records, in the past, the main hall was lined with deities and ceremonial guards, featuring precious golden statues, golden turtles, golden bells, jade chimes, jade tables and so on. Due to historical reasons, all these precious cultural relics have gone missing. Only one set of gilded bronze statues of Zhang Sanfeng bestowed by the imperial court has been preserved and has now been moved to the Langmei Shrine on Wudang Mountain for preservation.
