Zhang Sanfeng returned to his residence on Wudang Mountain, Huixian Hall. Besides preaching to his disciples, he was also practicing martial arts. After the true appearance of the scruffy Zhang was exposed, the Taoists who came to seek his master stopped one after another. There was no more space in the Immortal Gathering Hall, so they built some more thatched cottages nearby. Zhang Sanfeng first taught his disciples the art of standing in meditation. He said, "Pole practice is the foundation of martial arts. Only when the foundation is solid can martial arts improve." Taoist pole exercises are divided into Taiji Pole and Wuji Pole. Only when the practice of standing in a fixed position takes root can it be considered a successful practice." Then, he taught his disciples Wudang Tai Chi, Wudang Swordsmanship, as well as Wudang Lightness Kung Fu, Wudang Neidan Kung Fu, Wudang Acupoint Kung Fu and Wudang Sleeve Heaven and Earth Kung Fu. While teaching his disciples martial arts, Zhang Sanfeng wrote a large number of poems. Especially the twenty-four poems of "Rootless Tree" describe the cultivation of Taoism and martial arts from various aspects in a vivid and thorough manner, exerting a significant influence on later generations. In order to better pass on his skills to his disciples, Zhang Sanfeng instructed them to plant a plum blossom stump on the edge of the field in front of the Immortal Gathering Hall. Zhang Sanfeng stood on the plum blossom stump to practice and teach Tai Chi. A new apprentice, seeing that Zhang Sanfeng's Tai Chi was so weak and lacked any strength, couldn't help but say, "Master, Tai Chi has no real meaning at all. It's all show and no substance." Zhang Sanfeng jumped off the plum blossom pole and said, "My master is practicing Tai Chi. You use all your strength to punch and kick me." The new disciple, relying on his tall and strong build, thought that he could knock his master down with just one punch. While Zhang Sanfeng was leisurely practicing Tai Chi, he suddenly punched his chest. Zhang Sanfeng turned to one side, raised his left hand to block the disciple's fist, and then gently struck his chest with his right palm. The disciple was immediately knocked down several steps and plopped down on the ground. The disciple was still not convinced. He leaped up with a carp, leaped with both feet, and threw another punch. Zhang Sanfeng dodged his body, grabbed the disciple's wrist with his right hand, gave a gentle pull, and gave a light strike on his back with his left hand. The disciple threw himself out a dozen feet away and fell to the ground. The disciple got up, wiped the dust off his face and said, "Master, you are just using force ingeniously. You can't convince anyone." Zhang Sanfeng smiled and said, "Disciple, my master has exerted less than a fraction of his force on you. If it's too heavy, it will hurt you." Ok! If you want to see the strength of Tai Chi, I'll show you today!" Saying that, he came to the plum blossom pole and slowly started Tai Chi. Suddenly, he exerted force and hit a plum blossom pole with one palm strike. The bowl-thick piece of wood snapped in two with a "click". Zhang Sanfeng was in high spirits as he kicked a basin of oil-polished bluestone with one foot and then struck it with one palm, shattering the stone to pieces. The disciple "plop" knelt down before Zhang Sanfeng and said, "Master, Tai Chi is so powerful. I'm impressed!" Zhang Sanfeng clasped his fists and said with a smile, "Disciple, Tai Chi is gentle but actually firm. It's as soft as a silk thread and can wrap around the opponent. This is called 'sticking hands'. If you stick your opponent, he won't be able to escape." Tai Chi is as hard as iron and stone, capable of breaking through wood and cutting through stone, leaving the opponent either alive or injured. Looking at all the martial arts in the world, this is the superior skill. At this moment, someone outside the venue suddenly cheered, "Good!" Zhang Sanfeng looked in the direction of the sound and saw a monk begging for alms standing by the roadside. The monk was fat and chubby, tall and strong, carrying an iron rod as thick as a teacup, with the head of the rod carrying luggage. He walked onto the field and thrust the iron rod into the ground. The iron rod was less than a foot deep in the soil. He caused trouble and, upon hearing Zhang Sanfeng say that he had created Wudang Quan, spoke rudely and wanted to have a competition with Zhang Sanfeng. Only by winning could he establish his own school. He even attacked Zhang Sanfeng's disciple. Zhang Sanfeng thought to himself that it seemed he was going to teach this crazy monk a lesson. He bowed to the monk and said, "You can have a competition. I'll just stand still. You hit me first." Zhang Sanfeng stood still with a Wuji stance. The monk punched him right in the chest. However, Zhang Sanfeng remained motionless, and the monk was thrown out a zhang away, nearly falling. He took a swift step forward and kicked Zhang Sanfeng straight in the face with a flying kick. Zhang Sanfeng reached out and kicked the monk's leg and foot. The monk did two somersaults in the air and fell to the ground. He leaped up like a carp, took a deep breath, and an old monk struck the bell towards Zhang Sanfeng. Zhang Sanfeng didn't move his body, but the monk's head was stuck in his stomach and couldn't be pulled out no matter how hard he tried. The monk had no choice but to beg for mercy: "Master, please spare my disciple!" Zhang Sanfeng's stomach swelled. "Let's go!" " The monk was thrown over a zhang away, crouched on his bottom, got up and blushed, saying, "See you later!" " He pulled out the iron rod and left. Zhang Sanfeng watched the monk walk away and suddenly had a thought. He gathered his disciples together and said, "Wudang Boxing is profound and extensive, but we cannot be complacent. We should aim to promote it widely." When you complete your studies in the future, you can all establish your own sects and become masters of your own areas." All the disciples knelt down before Zhang Sanfeng and said, "We dare not deceive our master or destroy our ancestors." Zhang Sanfeng said, "As a master, I have also integrated the essence of martial arts, guiding exercises, and internal alchemy in the world, and developed the Wudang Quan." When you establish a sect, all you need to do is add the two characters "Wudang" to it." Later, the disciples indeed followed their master's instructions and established their own sects one after another, making the Wudang Boxing School spread all over the world. Shortly after the fall of the Yuan Dynasty, the newly appointed governor of Junzhou, accompanied by the imperial envoys of the Ming Dynasty, carried the imperial edict of Zhu Yuanzhang bestowing upon Zhang Sanfeng the title of Right Zhengyi of the Third Rank of Dao Lu Shi and the court robes, and specially rushed to Wudang Mountain. They arrived at the gate of the Huixian Pavilion and asked Qiu Yuanjing, a disciple of Zhang Sanfeng, to inform them. When Zhang Sanfeng heard that the imperial commissioner had come to Wudang mountain in person, he had already understood their intention and avoided seeing them. He asked someone to bring out his shabby 百衲衣 Taoist robe, a pair of hemp shoes and a tattered bamboo hat, along with an iron ruler that Zhang Heihu had picked up not long ago. He seldom wore this outfit when teaching his disciples in daily life. It was only put to use when he went out. Zhang Sanfeng had dressed up and put on the iron ruler. He gave a few instructions to his eldest disciple Sun Biyun and casually picked up a broom in the corner to sweep the yard. He swept all the way to the door. The imperial envoy came up to him and asked, "Master, may I ask if Master Zhang Sanfeng is at home?" Zhang Sanfeng pointed inside the Immortal Gathering Hall and then started sweeping. The imperial envoy hurriedly led the prefect and a group of constables into the Immortal Gathering Hall, where Sun Biyun warmly received them. The imperial envoy asked, "Where is the immortal Master Zhang Sanfeng?" Sun Biyun said, "Didn't you just speak to the immortal master?" Only then did the imperial envoy realize that the person sweeping the road was Zhang Sanfeng. He hurriedly went out to check on him, but there was a broom leaning against the door and the person had long disappeared.
