Don't let noise fill the room

In an era when household appliances are becoming increasingly popular, noise has intruded into the quiet life of families. Our ears are not accustomed to this kind of noise. When the sound reaches 50 to 70 decibels, it will make people feel uncomfortable. Most people will suffer greatly when they hear a sound of about 120 decibels. In fact, the ultimate response of the nervous and endocrine systems begins at approximately 70 decibels. Loud sounds are rare in nature, but they are quite common in human living environments. The noise made by trucks on the street can reach 90 decibels, that of vacuum cleaners can reach 80 decibels, and that of kitchen blenders can reach 90 decibels. These noises interfere with human activities, causing blood pressure to rise, heart rate to increase, gastric juice secretion to decrease, adrenaline to seep into all parts of the body, pupils to dilate, and muscles to contract. Relevant research results show that continuous noise in the living room not only reduces our ability to absorb nutrients from food, but also lowers our working capacity. According to statistics, in 1974, 80 million people in the United States were unable to live a normal life due to noise interference, and about 17 million people lost their hearing as a result.
