This stone carving statue has been initially confirmed to be the head of a Tang Dynasty maidservant. The special hairstyle of the female portrait and the full and plump shape are in line with the characteristics of Tang Dynasty statues. It is recorded that during the Zhenguan period of the Tang Dynasty, the "Five Dragons Shrine" was built in the Five Dragons Palace, setting a precedent for emperors to build Taoist temples in Wudang by imperial decree. Later, Emperor Suzong and Emperor Daizong of Tang also ordered the construction of the "Taiyi", "Yanchang", and "New Temple of Shenwei Wugong" and other halls. However, after more than a thousand years, it is now very difficult to find relics from the Tang Dynasty. Therefore, this stone carving artifact holds significant historical and research value.
