After Li Suxi's ascension, the then Crown Prince Zhu Gaochi issued an edict stating that Li Suxi was a good person who had achieved enlightenment through cultivation. All the previous commendations given to him by his father the emperor should be engraved on a stone tablet so that future generations would know his virtue. So, on the tablet set up by Hu, the left attendant of the Ministry of Rites, at Langmei Terrace, two imperial edicts of Emperor Chengzu Zhu Di of the Ming Dynasty were engraved on both the front and back sides. The content of these edicts commended Li Suxi's deeds of "being diligent and devoted to the way, loyal to the monarch and loving the country". It records the rewards he received from Emperor Langmei Guo twice, including 80 silver ingots, two pieces of colored brocade and two silk garments. The base of the stele is designed with a () shape to demonstrate the highest level of treatment and specification. Therefore, this stele is an important witness and reliable historical material to the history of Wudang Mountain.
