This imperial bronze stele in Yangwen script records the event when Emperor Yingzong of the Ming Dynasty bestowed upon Zhang Sanfeng the title of "Tongwei Xianhua Zhenren" on the 13th day of the fourth month of the third year of the Tianshun era. The base of the stele is made of iron and the front is decorated with dragon patterns. According to records, during the Ming Dynasty, emperors of successive dynasties bestowed titles upon Zhang Sanfeng. Besides Emperor Yingzong bestowing upon Zhang Sanfeng the title of "Tongwei Xianhua Zhenren", Emperor Xianzong in the 22nd year of Chenghua issued an edict bestowing upon him the title of "Taoguang Shangzhi Zhenxian". In the 42nd year of the Jiajing reign of the Ming Dynasty, Emperor Shizong bestowed upon Zhang Sanfeng the title of "Qingxu Yuanmiao Zhenjun". In the third year of the Tianqi reign of the Ming Dynasty, Emperor Xizong bestowed upon Zhang Sanfeng the title of "The True Lord of the Flying Dragon's Manifestation, Great Benevolence and Benefiting the World".
