2022-08-20 23:32:13

In the Qing Dynasty, there is a painted clay sculpture of Marshal Wen, named Wen Qiong, who is one of the four marshals in the divine system of the Great Emperor Zhenwu. Legend has it that Wen Qiong was originally the god of Mount Tai and a general under the Eastern Peak Emperor. When the Jade Emperor heard of his bravery and tenacity, he bestowed upon him a jade cup, a jade flower and a gold medal, on which were inscribed the four characters "Unrestrained by the Heavens". With this gold medal in hand, one can freely enter and exit the Heavenly Palace.
