Outside the Fortune Hall of Taihe Palace

In this hall on Xiaolian Peak, there is an ancient copper hall from the Yuan Dynasty, which is also the earliest existing copper hall from the Yuan Dynasty in China. It was cast in the early 14th century. It was placed on the top of Tianzhu Peak during the Yuan Dynasty and was also known as the Golden Hall. During the Yongle reign of the Ming Dynasty, Emperor Chengzu Zhu Di, due to its small scale, built an additional golden hall and issued an order to transport the copper hall of the Yuan Dynasty to Xiaolian Peak for preservation, while also building a brick and stone hall for protection. Because the copper hall inside was transported down from the Tianzhu Peak, this hall is called the Hall of Transportation.
