On the afternoon of March 12th, at the Yuxu Palace on Wudang Mountain, a video of the upcoming Wudang Tai Chi Nine Postures tutorial was being shot. Yang Qunli, a representative inheritor of the provincial intangible cultural heritage of Wudang martial arts, demonstrated on the spot. Every move and posture fully displayed the combination of hardness and softness and the cultural heritage of Wudang Tai Chi.

Yang Qunli introduced that the Wudang Mountain International Wushu College of Wuhan Institute of Physical Education was established in 2014. In response to the requirements of the "Six Enters" (entering schools, entering government agencies, etc.) work of Wudang Wushu and in combination with the needs of the college's curriculum setting, the Nine Postures of Wudang Tai Chi were created.

The Nine Postures of Wudang Tai Chi cover the core techniques of the eight methods and five steps of Tai Chi. The movements are concise and the techniques are complete, which is convenient for dissemination and promotion.

Yang Qunli introduced that although this set of boxing techniques consists of only nine movements, its technical content is complete. In terms of practice methods, it emphasizes "punching the ground of a lying ox". It can be practiced even in the living room, without being restricted by venue, age or season, and has a wide range of adaptability. It only takes about three minutes to complete a full practice. In the past decade, this boxing style has been promoted in Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, and is deeply loved by the people.
