Nan Yan, with its lofty mountain terrain, lush green trees, thousands of peaks competing in beauty, palaces and pavilions suspended in the air, and clouds and waterfalls cascading down to the sky, stands out among the thirty-six rocks of Wudang. "Standing tall and proud, it can carry a giant turtle in the middle of the sky; its might surpasses that of Min 'e and Yu Lei." In "The Sheer Cliffs of Nan Rock", Mu Xin, the Marquis of the Imperial family, depicted the ancient and extraordinary beauty of Nan Rock with his powerful and incisive writing style.

On a height of ten thousand feet, the South Rock Hall unfolds like a celestial painting in the void. This Xuandu wonder, deeply embedded in the folds of faults, embodies the craftsmanship of Zhang Shouqing, a master of the Yuan Dynasty during the Zhiyuan period, who led his team to carve it for 27 years. The wooden sword slanted between the eastern cliffs echoes the legend of the great treasure that guards the mountain in ancient books. The incense carvings of the believers during the Wanli period further led the footprints of people from all directions heading towards Wudang to the Yanshan Mountains.

The most breathtaking sight is the breathtaking posture of the world's first fragrant stone dragon prostrating its head into the sea of clouds, embodying the artisan's extraordinary power to resist the force of gravity. Deep within the rock face, the exquisite woodcarvings of Huizhou, the ingenious stone carvings of Sichuan and Chongqing, and the brilliant glassware of the River Luo region have eventually formed an immortal poem of "great elegance naturally created" on the craggy and sheer cliffs.

These enlightened people, in the sound of gold and stones, refined the eight-hundred-li Wudang into a legend of following the natural way. Seven hundred years have passed, and the magnificent scenery of Nan Yan remains as beautiful as ever. On the summit of the high mountain, the craftsmen have forged not only a mysterious palace on the sheer cliff, but also a monument of human culture, carrying forward the wisdom and craftsmanship of the Chinese people for five thousand years.
