On Wudang Mountain, there are a total of twelve imperial Stele pavilions. The "Guilt-carrying Stele" standing in the Imperial Stele Pavilion on Wudang Mountain, with its large size and exquisite craftsmanship, has become a treasure of stone carving art on Wudang Mountain and even in China. So, where were these huge stones mined from? Who led and participated in the mining of these huge rocks? For many years, in the study of Wudang culture, there have been no consensus on the legends of the mining and transportation of stone materials for imperial steles, which has become a major topic in the research of stone carvings and architecture on Wudang Mountain. Recently, a special task force for the investigation of the natural landscape of Wudang Mountain delved deep into the heart of Wudang and discovered a batch of rock paintings and cliff carvings with smooth lines and rich contents in a large-scale Ming Dynasty quarry. This reveals the historical event of two key national military forces of the Ming Dynasty participating in the large-scale stone mining on Wudang Mountain. # Wudang # Wudang Mountain # Exploring Wudang Mountain # Shiyan
