Tianjin Bridge, also known as Jianhe Bridge. Spanning the Jiudu Gorge, one end connects to the Eighteen Bends and the other ends to the Eighteen Bends, it is an important passage on the ancient sacred path of Wudang Mountain. This three-arch stone bridge was first built in the Yuan Dynasty. The middle arch has a span of 9.6 meters and the side arches have a span of 6.7 meters. For hundreds of years, it has remained unscathed after being hit by countless mountain floods. During the Yongle period of the Ming Dynasty, a Longquan Temple was built at one end of the Tianjin Bridge, and a screen wall was constructed at the other end, blocking the mountain peak that resembled a dragon head. Although Jianhe Bridge is located deep in the mountains and open in the wilderness, the ancient trees here tower into the sky and the river water is clear and serene. Coupled with the two buildings, Longquan Temple and the Screen Wall, it gives people the feeling of being in a courtyard. Here, there is also a beautiful legend about Wudang Mountain. It is said that when Zhenwu was young, he went to Wudang Mountain to cultivate. His mother, Empress Shansheng, led five hundred soldiers to chase after him and persuaded him to return to the palace. Seeing that Zhenwu had no intention of returning, his mother wouldn't let go of his robe. Zhenwu drew his sword, cut the robe, and then casually slashed the ground with it. A river of swords gushed out, separating the mother and son on both banks. Mother and son parted in tears. Zhenwu walked up the mountain eighteen steps, forming the upper eighteen bends of Wudang Mountain. Mother walked back eighteen steps, looking back at each step, forming the winding lower eighteen bends. Nowadays, when people walk on the ancient road with eighteen turns up and down, and watch the ceaselessly flowing Jian River on the ancient Tianjin Bridge, they will be moved by this touching legend and marvel at the wisdom of the ancients in their creation.
