Wudang Mountain Gate

This magnificent ancient-style building serves as the entrance to the Wudang Mountain Scenic Area. The mountain gate, which was built in accordance with the layout of the "Overall Planning of Wudang Mountain Scenic Area", was designed by Hubei Industrial Architectural Design Institute and constructed by Wudang Mountain Special Economic Zone. The mountain gate is a six-column and five-arch ancient-style stele building, with a total height of 11.9 meters and a total width of 21.6 meters. The middle gate is 6.4 meters high and 5.4 meters wide, serving as the main lane. The lintel is engraved with the three characters "Wudang Mountain", and the balustrade and eave rafters are engraved with the pattern of rolling clouds. Construction began in July 1988 and was completed in September 1990, with a total investment of 500,000 yuan.
