To visit the Five Dragons Palace, one must pass through the Nine-bend Yellow River Wall and enter through a side-opening mountain gate. This reflects the intentions of ancient geomemologists. The side-opening mountain gate has changed the orientation of the main building, which faces west and east, to a north-south orientation. Entering the front courtyard of the Dragon and Tiger Hall, one will find that the architectural layout here is unique and serves as a prelude to the formation of a solemn and serious central axis. To the east, there is a huge and towering screen wall. To the north and south, there are two tall imperial stele pavilions. Then, one enters a spacious courtyard and leads to the Dragon and Tiger Hall. The entire layout reflects the ancient people's design creativity of not being bound by conventions and adapting to local conditions.
