Some say: "In my wall, I am bound by Confucianism. I only know the sayings of the Five Classics, the Three Histories, and the Hundred Schools of Thought, as well as the flowery poetry and prose, and the unhelpful short essays. I have been thinking of adhering to all these for many years." Born in a time of great hardship, with chaos and instability, conflicts and battles are frequent. Art and literature are not valuable, but efforts are wasted. In great distress, one yearns for the trivial and the hidden, yet still cannot find a fortune in it, thus avoiding this burden. It is also detrimental to deep thinking and does no good to one's life. When one reaches old age, one's original aspiration wanes. When one is eager to seek the way of life, one ends up in confusion and has no direction to follow. It is like crossing a great river; it is better to offer help. Sir, having thoroughly studied the classics of tombs and also delved into the mysteries of the world, without scrutinizing the Taoist books, if there are any volumes, I would like to inform you of their titles." Baopuzi said, "I am also suffering from the same illness as you." In the past, I was fortunate enough to meet the wise master Zheng Jun, but I regretted that my disciples were not wise enough to reach the extreme of firmness and reach the highest ears. At that time, although he was well-versed in the care and attention of his disciples, he was both short of knowledge and young, lacking in concentration and having not fully fulfilled his worldly sentiments. As a result, he could not achieve much, which was truly a source of great regret. Zheng Jun was eighty years old at that time. His hair was already grey, but after several years of leisure, it became dark and lustrous. He could draw a strong crossbow to shoot a hundred paces, walk hundreds of miles a day, and drink two dou of alcohol without getting drunk. Every time I went up the mountain, my physical strength was light and I climbed more and more dangerous situations. When I was young and pursued it, I was far behind. The diet is no different from that of ordinary people, and there is no trace of it. Yu Wenxian followed his disciple Huang Zhang and said that Lord Zheng had once returned from Yuzhang and was caught in a strong wind in the Juegou Pond. Hearing that there had been many bandits in the past, the companions of Zheng Jun stayed behind and kept him company. Everyone felt that their food was scarce. Zheng Jun pushed rice to help them and they no longer ate. For fifty days, they were not hungry. He does not see what he does, nor does he know why. Under the fire, I read books carefully, passing through the days of my youth. He is well-versed in musical music, skilled at playing the zither, sitting idly, serving several people, answering questions with his mouth, speaking non-stop, and listening with his ears. He plays the strings on both sides, teaching long and short without the slightest deviation. Yu Wanchong, a disciple of Lord Zheng, asked for a letter and told him: "The essence of the way is not beyond the measure and the standard; it is sufficient to save the world and does not need to be excessive." However, after extensive knowledge, it is far better than seeing nothing. Not only can one understand human nature, but also acquire simple techniques to prevent the various troubles of those who have not yet mastered the basics. Here are nearly a hundred volumes of the precepts and admonitions of the Taoist family, which I will briefly present. I also have many preconceptions, and the preconceptions often consult me on matters of doubt. Lord Zheng said, "You have the talent to select matters and can be taught." However, although much of what you know has not been thoroughly understood and is intended for external learning, it cannot be focused on one aspect and has not delved deeply into the distant realm. Now, of course, you should present it with excellent books. It is also possible to gradually obtain short letters written in plain paper. Over the years, by collecting what I have seen, about two hundred volumes should have been produced, but in the end, it is impossible to obtain them. All his disciples were personally involved in the labor of servants, collecting firewood and plowing fields. Only the remaining 尫 was weak and unable to bear the toil of others. However, he was unable to improve himself. He often personally swept, wiped the bed and tables, ground ink and held candles, and wrote old books with Lord Zheng. Seeing that I was the same as the advanced ones, I said to him, "There are good things in every volume of the miscellaneous books, but one should carefully examine their quality and choose what to apply. One should not recite everything thoroughly to avoid wasting time and effort." If the golden elixir is completed, then this generation will not use anything. Or when there should be some teaching, it is advisable to understand the main and the secondary, the sequence and the beginning, in order to encourage advanced scholars. There is no need for any specific order or sequence. Lord Zheng also refused to have someone write his book first. He would always decide on his intentions. Even though he had borrowed it for a long time, no one dared to steal a single word to write. Zheng Jun was originally a great Confucian scholar. Later on, he became fond of the Tao and was constantly taught by the Book of Rites and the Secretary of State. His figure was tall and bright, and his style was neat and tidy. All who received him were solemn. Whenever there is a consultation, I always treat him with a gentle expression and dare not be sharp. Those who keep their books in other places for a month are sufficient to write something significant. Those who dare not secretly write, due to the intelligence of Lord Zheng, encounter and know them. If they fail to understand their intentions, it will be a case of losing the big picture with a small one. However, at the beginning of the request for acceptance, I was reluctant to do so. For the sake of careful consideration, I have made some requests. Therefore, one only knows to drink from the river but not to be full. However, among the more than fifty disciples, only those who have seen the scripture of receiving the Golden Elixir and the Five Elements Record in the pillow of the Inner Text of the Three Sovereigns are not allowed to read the first title of this book. Although his book is not available, his name is not well-known. Now I will explain it to you. Those who are fond of books in the future can look it up widely. Dong Jundi, however, always had to remember the last two volumes of Mr. Li's mnemonic. All those that do not specify the number of volumes are one volume. Secondly, there are various talismans Then there are the three volumes of the Self-Generated Talisman, the Golden Light Talisman, the Taixuan Talisman, the Celestial Talisman, the Five Essence Talisman, the Stone Chamber Talisman, the Jade Strategy Talisman, the Pillow Middle Talisman, the Little Child Talisman, the Nine Spirits Talisman, the Six Emperors Talisman, the Xuan Du Talisman, the Yellow Emperor Talisman, the Shao Qian 36 General Talisman, the Longevity God Talisman, the Heaven Water God Talisman, the Forty-Nine True Talisman, the Heaven Water Talisman, the Azure Dragon Talisman, the White Tiger Talisman, the Vermilion Bird Talisman, the Black Tortoise Talisman, the Red Body Talisman, the Seven Weapons Talisman, the Nine Heavens War Talisman, the Nine Heavens Talisman, and the Old Man The Sutra talisman, the Seven Talismans, the Great Defense of Calamity Talisman, the Xuanzi Talisman, the Wu Xiao Jing Yan Jun Long Hu SAN Nang Bi Bing Talisman, the Bao Yuan Talisman, the Shen Xi Talisman, the Yu ð« Han Fei Talisman, the Elimination of Disaster Talisman, the Eight Trigrams Talisman, the Supervision of the Gan Talisman, the Lightning Talisman, the Ten Thousand Bi Talisman, the Eight Powers and Five Victories Talisman, the Wei Xi Talisman, the Ju Sheng Talisman, the CAI Nu Talisman, the Xuan Jing Talisman, the Jade Li Talisman, the North Platform Talisman, the Yin-Yang Great Guardian Talisman, the Zhen Zhong Talisman, the Ten Volumes of the Cure for All Diseases Talisman, the ten volumes of the Aversion to Oddiums Talisman, and the Two Hu Gong Talismans The Nine Talismans in nine volumes, the Six Jia Spiritual Talismans in ten volumes, the Six Yin Kitchen Dragon Womb Stone Room Three Metals and Five Woods Protective Final Match in Five hundred volumes, the Military Summoning and Governance Talismans in ten volumes, and the Jade Axe Talismans in ten volumes are all great talismans. The rest is small and cannot be recorded." Baopuzi said, "Lord Zheng said that the talismans originated from Lord Laozi and are all celestial beings." Laojun was able to communicate with the gods, and all the talismans were bestowed by the gods. The reason why it is rarely used by people nowadays is that it has been around for a long time and has been passed down and written about, thus causing many mistakes. And if one's confidence is not firm, it won't work either. For instance, when it comes to calligraphy, if the characters are incorrect, not only will it be of no benefit, but it may also be harmful. Even those who are familiar with calligraphy still make many mistakes when writing. Therefore, there is a saying that goes, "After writing three times, a fish becomes a lu and a void becomes a tiger." This is what is meant by this. Seven and the scholar, but the difference lies in that 倨 is used to outline the length of leisure. However, the characters on the talisman are not readable and the mistakes cannot be perceived, so it is impossible to know that they are not fixed. In the world, there are also the techniques of receiving and using talismans. Those who use talismans alone to achieve their effects are just like people who use musk to produce fragrance. Naturally, they cannot be passed down. Even so, it must be a talisman that does not mislead, and be used with a pure heart. But when the true body does not make it work quickly, it is all beneficial to itself. For all Taoists seeking immortality, their aim is to have the medicine in their ears. Talismans and swords can only ward off evil spirits and ghosts. All the great talismans are said to lead to immortality when used, but they should not be relied upon alone. In the ancient Wu Dynasty, there was a person named Jiexiang who could read runes and tell whether they were wrong or not. Some people attempted to take the various amulets for treating all kinds of diseases and the amulets for impetuaries, removed the signs and titles to indicate the images, and named them one by one. Those who are at fault shall be identified by others. Since then, no one has ever been able to know. Or they might ask: "Among the greatest elixirs of immortality, none surpasses the golden pill. Since I have heard the order, may I ask what kind of talisman is not considered the most divine?" " Baopuzi said, "I have heard from Lord Zheng that among all the Taoist scripts, nothing is more important than the inner text of the Three Sovereigns and the true forms of the Five Great Mountains." In ancient times, immortals and officials held this path in high regard. Only those with the title of immortal could impart it. It was passed down every forty years. When it was passed down, a blood oath was made and a pledge was made. All the famous mountains and the Five Great Mountains have this book, but it is kept in a secluded place in a stone chamber. Those who have achieved enlightenment should enter the mountains and think about it sincerely. Then the mountain gods will naturally open the mountains and let people see it. Just like Bo Zhongli, he obtained it in the mountains, set up an altar and entrusted it with silk. He often painted a book and then left. Keep this book in a clean place. Whenever I do something, I must first confess it, as if I were serving my Lord and father. The classic says, "If one has the Three sovereigns' texts at home, they can ward off evil spirits, warm up the epidemic energy, and bring about unexpected misfortunes and disasters." If one is in distress, ill or dying, and has a sincere faith, by following this book and persisting in it, one will surely not die. If a woman who is unable to give birth to a baby can hold on to it, the baby will be born. The Taoist priest, seeking immortality, carried this book into the mountains to ward off the Tiger and Wolf Mountain spirits and the five poisons and all kinds of evil spirits. None of them dared to approach him. It can cross rivers and seas, yet it can slay dragons and stop the turmoil. If the method is mastered, the work can be changed. Choose an auspicious day without asking, and the family will be free from misfortune. If one wishes to build a new house and a tomb, one should write dozens of imperial inscriptions on the ground and distribute them on it. Tomorrow, when looking at them, if there are yellow inscriptions, it will be convenient to start work on them, and the family will surely be prosperous. Also, when someone else was buried, he wrote the imperial text of the human emperor and inscribed his own surname on the famous paper. He stole it from his own tomb, so that no one would know about it and there would be no trouble or thieves. Those who plan to criticize themselves will surely slander themselves instead. This article also requires a hundred days of fasting. Only then can one summon the celestial deities in charge of one's destiny and the Tai Sui. One can visit the Five Great Mountains and Four Great Rivers every day. The deities in the shrines and temples can all be seen in human form. One can ask about good fortune and misfortune, safety and danger, as well as the causes of illness and misfortune. There are also eighteen characters to wear clothes, to travel far and wide across rivers and seas, and to be free from the worry of any turmoil. He also has the true form map of the Five Great Mountains at home, which can ward off evil and rebellion. Those who want to harm him will all suffer the consequences in return. When one is a Taoist, if one cannot practice benevolence, righteousness and kindness and is not upright and diligent, it will bring disaster to the entire family and should not be taken lightly. Among its variations, the most significant one is Mozi's Five Elements Record, which originally consists of five volumes. Before Liu Jun 'an passed away, he took the essentials of the banknotes and made them into one scroll. The method of using medicinal talismans can make people fly up and down, hide and lose their way, smile as a woman, frown as an old man, sit on the ground as a child, hold a staff as a tree, plant crops as fruits for eating, draw the ground as a river, gather soil to form a mountain, sit and cook, stir up clouds and light fires, and do all kinds of things. Secondly, there is a scroll called "The Hidden Beauty of Jade Maiden", which can also transform into birds and beasts, as well as gold, wood, jade and stones. It can create clouds and rain for a hundred miles, and snow can do the same. It does not need a boat beam to cross a great river, and can be divided into a thousand forms. It can fly high with the wind, and there is no time to go in and out. It can exhale in seven colors, sit and see the eight corners, and even the things underground, shining brightly. The netherworld will be illuminated by itself. It is also a great art. However, when walking among the dozens of stars, it is hard to recognize them due to their twists and turns, and few can compose them. Among the myriad treasures of the Huai Nan region, none can match this book. There are also the Seven Variations of the White Tiger. Take the scalp of the white tiger killed on the third day of the third lunar month, which will produce 扆 blood, tiger blood, purple ribbons, shoes, and water lily, and plant them together on the third day of the third lunar month. The newly grown grass looks like flax and has a seed. If this seed is taken and planted, it will be different for a lifetime. Among the seven, when combined with the essence, it can also change the form and appearance, flying, sinking and caring, which is slightly similar to Mozi and the Jade Maiden's subtle and subtle nature. Beyond this, there is no need to discuss it." Those who read extensively wish to enable those who are interested in the Tao to know the titles of different books. Zheng Jun was not merely well-versed in the Five Classics and knew the way of immortals; he also delved deeply into the Nine Palaces and Three Wonders, the divination of astronomy, and the prophecies of the River and Luo. In the first year of Tai 'an, upon learning that Ji Shi was in chaos and the Jiangnan region was about to be in a state of turmoil, he took the elixir of immortality and sent his disciples eastward to Mount Huo, but no one knew where he was.
