The talisman is the spirit, soul and soul. Guan Yinzi said, "Water can separate and combine; it is the essence of no one." Fire, because of the anointing of the burning God, has no self. Therefore, when the ears are obscured, one can hear from both the front and the back. There is no one, no one is wise and noble, no one is extraordinary, no one is the withering of winter and the fading of autumn, no one is black and unchangeable, no one is the longevity of the north, all are exquisite. The tongue is the teeth, the teeth form words, without self, the rites are humble without self, the two are even without self, summer is due to spring things, without self, red can change, without self, the southern sky without self, all are gods. Because the essence is uninhabited, the rice retains its essence when the husk is removed; because the spirit has no self, the ghost sees the spirit when it relies on objects. Those who are fully concentrated forget right and wrong, gain and loss. What is here is not that. Those who embrace the spirit are sometimes bright and sometimes dim, sometimes strong and sometimes weak. What is there is not this. It is said: Spirit is water and fire. The five elements are mutually generated and destroyed. Their origin has no head and their destination has no tail. Therefore, a drop of my essence has no life or death, and my spirit one 欻 has no beginning or end. There is no self and no one, no head and no tail, so it is in the netherworld with heaven and earth. It is said: Essence is water, spirit is metal, spirit is fire, and soul is wood. Essence governs water, and spirit governs metal. Metal generates water, so essence is hidden within the spirit. The deity governs fire, while the soul governs wood. Wood generates fire, so the deity's soul stores it. Only water, as a substance, can store gold and release it, and nourish wood and make it thrive. That is why it can dissolve the soul and spirit. Only fire, as a substance, can melt gold and melt it, or burn wood and burn it. Therefore, the soul of the netherworld. Only essence is cold in the sky, water in the earth, and essence in human beings. God is heat in the sky, fire on the earth, and God among men. The soul is dryness in the sky, metal on the earth, and human soul. The soul is the wind in the sky, the wood on the earth, and the soul in human beings. Only with my essence can I combine the essence of all things in heaven and earth, just as all waters can be merged into one. With my spirit, I unite the spirits of all things in heaven and earth, just as all fires can be combined into one fire. With my spirit, I can integrate the spirits of all things in the universe. Just as gold is a thing, it can combine different kinds of gold and melt them into one. With my soul, I unite the souls of all things in heaven and earth. Just as wood is a thing, it can connect with other woods to form one wood. Then all things in heaven and earth are my essence, my spirit, my soul and my soul. Which one will die and which one will live? It is said that the five Elements' fortune, because of the essence, has the soul; because of the soul, there is the spirit; because of the spirit, there is the mind; because of the mind, there is the spirit; because of the spirit, there is the essence. The Five elements cycle ceaselessly. Therefore, my false mind flows through creation, for hundreds of millions of years without end. Yet, the seeds and buds grow together, and I don't know how many tens of thousands of them. Though the universe is vast, it cannot sprout the seeds in the sky. There are countless birds where the female and the egg reproduce. Although Yin and Yang are wonderful, there cannot be a female without a male egg. If all that comes from me is captured in one breath, then all things become me and nothing is not me. Among the five elements, who can change them? It is said: When people use their spirits to control their souls, if there is an excess of metal, there will be a shortage of wood. A sage uses his soul to move his spirit; without surplus, there will be insufficient metal. Where the soul hides, the spirit is present; where the soul wanders, the soul follows. The soul sees during the day, and the spirit rests on the liver at night. Seeing leads to seeing; sacrificing the liver leads to dreaming. The soul that sees it without discrimination and analyzes it is called heaven and earth. The soul 狃 practices. The dreamer's spirit does not distinguish between the two. The distinction between the two is called "self", and the spirit 狃 practice. Fire generates earth, thus it brings about divine vitality. Earth gives birth to metal; deliberately, it gives birth to spirit. What God moves is not called God but will. What is moved by the mind is not called the mind itself, but the spirit. Only the sage knows whether I am or not, and whether things are or not, all because of his consideration and planning. Therefore, when all things come into being, I respond to them with my nature, not with my heart. Nature is when the heart has not yet emerged. If there is no heart, there will be no heart. Without fire, there would be no earth; without intention, there would be no spirit. There is no gold without soil. If one does not exist, all five will cease to exist. If one can unite all things in the universe as the soul, then one can unite all things in the universe as the spirit. All the wonders of nature are my soul, all the elements of nature are my spirit. Then there is nothing that can subdue me. The liver is regarded as the lungs. It is said that the ghost is the soul and the white spirit is the spirit. This is true in the text. A ghost is transformed from a dead person. Clouds represent wind, and wind represents wood. White represents qi, and qi represents metal. When the wind scatters, it becomes light and clear; light and clear, it ascends to the heavens. Metal is hard and thus heavy and turbid; heavy and turbid elements penetrate the earth. Light and clear, the soul ascends from the spirit. The heavy and turbid, the soul descends from the spirit. Some are elevated by benevolence and are supported by Jupiter, some by righteousness and are supported by Venus, some by propriety and are supported by Mars, some by wisdom and are supported by Mercury, and some by trustworthiness and are supported by Saturn. There are those who are heartless, those who are betrayed by wood, those who are betrayed by injustice, those who are betrayed by metal, those who are betrayed by lack of propriety, those who are betrayed by fire, those who are betrayed by lack of wisdom, those who are betrayed by water, and those who are betrayed by lack of trust, and those who are betrayed by earth. When the soul and the spirit are half divided, in the human world, the elevated soul is considered noble, the lowered soul is considered humble, the soul is regarded as virtuous, the fierce soul as foolish, the light soul as bright, the heavy soul as dark, the elevated soul as feather, the dull soul as hair, the bright soul as god, and the dark soul as ghost. Its form, its dwelling, its perception and its preferences are all in harmony with the Five Elements. Only the numbers of the Five Elements are uneven and diverse, so the abundance of all things fills the universe, yet it is still not enough. If the five things are attributed to the five elements and the five elements are regarded as the five insects, it is truly more effective than words. It is like a turtle counting yarrow stalks; with utmost sincerity, the five elements respond accordingly. If one is sincere and does not come, no matter how many times there are, there will be no response. The sage travels through the world by false means, and the Five elements must be correct. It is said that the five possess a soul. The soul represents consciousness, the eyes represent precision, and the form represents spirit. What is seen is the soul, where the eyes, ears, mouth, nose and heart are born. Love is the essence, the father, and contemplation is the God, the mother. Although the views of love may vary, they are all born of the same consciousness. The origin of that birth lies in that birth. One is the father, so one receives the father's anger. Anger is like water. The second is the mother, so one receives blood from the mother, and blood represents fire. With a father and a mother, one can be reborn. It is precisely because of the lack of consciousness in love that it is like a locked friendship, and the lack of consciousness in observation that it is like the illumination of a lamp. If my knowledge does not sprout, how could I be born? It is said: For instance, 桴 to hold the drum, the shape of the drum is what I have. The sound of the drum is my feeling. Youdaoplaceholder0 The past is gone, the sound is still there, but it is no longer there. The shape of the drum is like my essence, and the sound of the drum is like my spirit. The rest of the sounds are like the soul and spirit. Knowing the sudden coming and going, how could I have the energy of the five elements? It is said that for a fruit to have a seed, water, fire and earth must all be present, and then they will generate each other without end. If all three are absent, it is like a severe drought, a major flood or a large area, all of which are insufficient for living things. The essence of water, the spirit of fire, the meaning of the mind and the earth are not inherently interlinked. Only when people unite them with their roots can they see problems within them. Just as a master of divination can see many things in the most non-existent. It is said: The soul is like wood. The roots of wood grow in winter water and it blossoms in summer fire. Therefore, the soul of a person is hidden in the spirit of the night but manifested in the spirit of the day. It is in accordance with the essence, so I am the only one I have seen, for the essence has never been found in anyone else. It is in accordance with God, so what I see is the same with others, for God has never had me. It is said: Knowing that this body of mine is like the body in a dream, one can fly with the spirit as if he were me and wander freely in the Great Clarity. Knowing this thing is like an object in a dream. Those who see it according to their emotions can condense their essence into crops and travel across the eight directions. This is the Dao, which can see the spirit and live for a long time, and can forget the spirit and be reborn beyond it. Inhale to nourish the essence, just as metal generates water; inhale the wind to nourish the spirit, just as wood generates fire. Therefore, the exterior is used to extend the spirit. Rinsing with water nourishes the essence, which is why the essence does not remain abundant. Boiling with fire nourishes the spirit, which is why the spirit does not remain abundant. Therefore, the inner self is used to extend the spirit. If one forgets his spirit and transcends rebirth, I have already spoken of it. It is said that a person who is diligent in propriety will not let his spirit wander outward and can gather his spirit. A person who is diligent and wise does not lose his essence and can retain it. Benevolence leads to Yang and clarity, allowing the soul to be light. Righteousness is Yin and mysterious, capable of subduing the soul. It is said: The dung beetle turns the ball. When the ball is completed, it is carefully considered. If there are white worms remaining in the ball, the shell is removed and cicadas appear. Which dung does not think, which dung taunts? It is said: A cook is serving a crab, leaving one leg on the table. The crab has been served, but the leg is still moving. It is the gathering and scattering of life and death. Neither life nor death, yet people play tricks on life and death. It is said that there are those who stand dead, those who sit dead, those who lie down dead, those who fall ill dead, and those who take medicine dead. There is no distinction between A and B when it comes to waiting for death. If those who know do not see life, they will not see death. It is said that people's aversion to life and death, as well as those who transcend the cycle of rebirth, are all great calamities. For instance, when transforming into a human being, if one has the heart of hating life and death and the heart of transcending life and death, it can only be called a demon and not the Tao. It is said that those who plan for life and death are either said to have died of their own existence, or to have died of their own non-existence, or to have died of their own existence and non-existence, or to have died of their own non-existence and non-existence. Some say they should be delighted, some say they should be afraid, some say they should be entrusted, and some say they should surpass. The more one realizes love, the more one chases after it. Little do I know that my life and death are like the hand of a horse, like the wings of an ox, originally non-existent, and then non-existent. For instance, even if water and fire are in conflict, they cannot be burned or drowned.
