The Theory of Composure

You have become a master of the five storehouses and six organs, the gallbladder, stomach, large and small intestines, spleen, cells, bladder, brain, saliva, crying and sorrow." The flow of water is all the result of human beings. The mistakes in governance can be fully understood, but they cannot be known, which is the resentment of the world. Lei Gong said, "I have asked you to recite the upper and lower chapters of the 'Pulse Classic' many times, but I have not been able to categorize them all. How can I possibly understand them all?" Emperor's Day: Regarding the faults of the five Treasuries, the disharmony of the six Treasuries, the failure of the needle and stone, the straightness of the poison, and the taste of the soup, I have described all these conditions in detail. May I ask if you know? On the day of Thunder God: Liver deficiency, kidney deficiency and spleen deficiency all cause weight loss and distress. One should be treated with poison, acupuncture, moxibustion, stone inhalation or decoctions, either to the end or not. I wish to hear the solution. When the spleen is weak, it seems to float like the lungs; when the kidneys are small, it seems to float like the spleen; when the liver is urgent, sunken and scattered, it seems to be the kidneys. All these are due to the disorder during work, but with composure, it can be resolved. What does this young man know about the abode of the Three Treasures of Ku Fu and Shui Shui? Lei Gong said: "Here, there is someone who has a headache, cramps in the muscles and bones, is timid and short of breath, has a sore throat and a full abdomen, and is constantly startled and does not like to lie down. What is the hidden cause of this?" The pulse is floating and taut. When cut, it feels as hard as a stone. I don't know the explanation. I ask all the Tripitaka again to understand its comparison. The emperor said, "This is what is meant by composure." When one is old, they seek it in the mansion; when one is young, they seek it in the classics; when one is strong, they seek it in the Treasury. Everything I say is first. The eight elements of heat ①, the five elements of dissipation and enlightenment, and the transmission of evil phenomena. If a person is floating and strumming, it indicates a deficiency of the kidney. When a stone sinks, it is due to the internal accumulation of kidney qi. Those who are timid and lack energy are due to the obstruction of the waterways and the dissipation of the form and energy. Coughing and restlessness are signs of the reversal of kidney qi. The illness of a person's energy lies in one compartment. If one claims that the Tripitaka is practiced simultaneously, it is not due to the Dharma. Lei Gong said: There is a person here whose four branches have collapsed, with shortness of breath, coughing and blood loss. They foolishly diagnosed it and thought it was a lung injury. Their pulse was found to be floating, large and tight. They were too foolish to treat it. If a rough worker sleeps on a stone, the more he gets sick, the more he bleeds. When the blood stops, his body feels light. What is this? Emperor Ri: Your son is capable of treating and knows a great deal, but he has lost all understanding of this disease. Just like a wild goose flying, it also soars into the sky. The sage's treatment of diseases follows the Dharma and adheres to the rules, compares things with the common ones, and transforms them in a mysterious way, from top to bottom. There is no need to adhere to the scriptures. Today, if the pulse is floating, large and weak, it is due to heat outside the spleen: the original text "familiar", modified according to the literal meaning. "Absolute; It goes beyond the stomach and returns to Yangming. If two fires cannot overcome three waters, it is because the pulse is disordered and unpredictable. The disintegration of the four branches indicates the insufficiency of spleen essence. Wheezing and coughing indicate that water qi is in harmony with Yangming. When there is blood loss, the pulse is rapid and the blood cannot flow. If one believes that it harms the lungs, it is because of loss that one becomes insane. Without making analogies, one cannot truly understand. When the lungs are injured, the spleen qi is not controlled, the stomach qi is not clear, the meridians are not functioning properly, the true storehouse is damaged, the meridians are blocked, the five storehouses leak, and one will vomit without smoking. These two are not the same. For instance, the sky is formless, the earth is unreasonable, and white and black are far apart. It is because of my own mistakes that I am aware of them. Therefore, I do not inform my son. I clearly guide and compare with others, remaining calm and composed. This is called diagnosing the classics, and this is the supreme way.
