The emperor said, "If you receive the teachings but do not know that they are in line with the supreme Way, you will confuse your teacher and teach you the essence of the supreme Way." When one is ill and injured in the five viscera, the muscles and bones are worn down. If one's words are not clear and one does not distinguish, then the world's master's learning is complete. The kidney is gone, with regret as the sun sets, calm and composed, unable to leave, and indifferent to human affairs.
