The Yellow Emperor asked, "Can a person with arthralgia live in peace?" Qi Bo replied, "When wind, cold and dampness are mixed and combined, they cause numbness." When wind prevails, it is called "moving arthralgia"; when cold prevails, it is called "painful arthralgia"; when dampness prevails, it is called "excessive arthralgia". The emperor said, "What are the five?" Chui Bo said: When encountering this in winter, it is called bone arthralgia; when it is unobstructed in spring, it is called tendon arthralgia; when it is encountered in summer, it is called meridian arthralgia; even when it is encountered in Yin, it is called muscle arthralgia; and when it is encountered in autumn, it is called skin arthralgia. Emperor's Day: What's the reason for the five storehouses and six mansions inside? The day of Qi Bo: All the five internal organs are in harmony. For those who have been ill for a long time and do not recover, the internal organs are in harmony. Therefore, the bone pain persists and is further affected by pathogenic factors, which are internally confined to the kidneys. The tendons and muscles remain numb and are further affected by pathogenic factors, which are internally trapped in the liver. The numbness of the pulse persists and is further attributed to pathogenic factors, which are internally suppressed in the heart. The muscle numbness persists and is further affected by pathogenic factors, which are internally confined to the spleen. If the skin numbness persists and is further affected by pathogenic factors, it will internally spread to the lungs. The so-called arthralgia varies depending on the severity of the wind, cold and dampness at the time. All those who suffer from the obstruction of the five internal organs and lung obstruction may experience restlessness, shortness of breath and vomiting. When the heart is blocked, the meridians are not unobstructed. When there is restlessness, the lower part of the heart bulges and the upper qi rises, causing shortness of breath. It is also dry and prone to breathing. When the upper qi rises, there is fear. For those with liver obstruction, they will feel like they are at night, with frequent drinking and urination, and the upper body will guide them as if they were in their arms. For those with kidney obstruction, they tend to experience distension. For the common people, it is used to replace unobstructed flow; for the spine, it is used to replace the head. In cases of spleen obstruction, the limbs may fall apart, accompanied by coughing, vomiting of juice, and a large obstruction in the upper part of the body. For those with intestinal obstruction, several drinks cannot be excreted, shortness of breath in the middle, and sometimes diarrhea occurs. For those with arthralgia, there is pain in the lower abdomen and bladder when pressed. If a decoction is given, it will be astringent in urination and the upper part will be clear nasal discharge. Yin energy, when still, hides the spirit; when agitated, it perishes. Confidence in diet can harm the stomach and intestines. Excessive indulgence leads to wheezing, and illness accumulates in the lungs. Lust transforms thoughts and accumulates in the heart. Excessive indulgence caused by lust accumulates in the kidneys. When the lewd qi is exhausted, it accumulates in the liver. Excessive sexual energy leads to muscle atrophy and accumulation in the spleen. When various arthralgia persists, it also benefits the internal organs. If a person's style prevails, he will easily become one. ① Waist: Originally, there was no such character. It was supplemented according to the "Village Code". ② Yi: Originally "ji", adapted from "Tai Su". The emperor said, "Bi. At that time, some people died, some suffered for a long time, and some died easily. What is the reason for this?" Qi Bo said: "Those who enter Xizang will die. Those who remain in the tendons and bones will suffer for a long time. Those who remain in the skin will die easily." The emperor said, "What is his guest in the six mansions?" Reading "Fear of the sun" : This is also the place where one eats, drinks and lives, and it is the root cause of one's illness. The six prefectures are the same. Each has its own shu point. Among the wind, cold and dampness, there is one shu point. Food and drink should respond to it, follow the shu point and enter, each giving up its own residence. The emperor said, "What can be done with acupuncture?" Qi Bo said: The five viscera and the six prefectures have their own conversions. The meridians are divided and each has its own development. If each follows its own faults, then diseases will occur. The emperor said, "Does the aura of Rong Wei also make people feel numb?" Qi Bo Ri: "Rong" refers to the essence and energy of water and grains. It is harmonized in the five compartments and dispersed in the six prefectures. Only then can it enter the meridians. Therefore, it follows the meridians up and down, runs through the five compartments, and connects the six prefectures. The "wei" refers to the vigorous qi of water and grains. Its source is rapid and slippery, and it cannot enter the meridians. Therefore, it flows through the skin, between the flesh, fumigates the blind membrane, and spreads to the chest and abdomen. Going against one's qi leads to illness; following it leads to recovery. It does not combine with wind, cold and dampness, and thus does not cause arthralgia. The emperor said, "Good." What causes numbness or pain, or no pain, or lack of benevolence, or cold, heat, dryness, or dampness? I am afraid of the day: Pain is caused by excessive coldness. Because of the coldness, there is pain. For those who are neither painful nor benevolent, the disease persists for a long time, the circulation of Rong and Wei is sluggish, and the meridians are sometimes blocked. Therefore, there is no pain, and the skin is not nourished, which is why they are not benevolent. The term "coldness" refers to a deficiency of Yang energy and an excess of Yin energy, which complement diseases, thus it is cold. In cases of heat, there is an abundance of Yang energy and a scarcity of Yin energy. Clear energy prevails, and Yang meets Yin, thus it is called arthralgia heat. Those who sweat a lot while studying Confucianism are exposed to excessive dampness. Their Yang energy is scarce while their Yin energy is abundant. The two energies interact with each other, so when they sweat, they also bring back: "If it's a disease caused by numbness, why doesn't it hurt?" Fang Bori: If the numbness lies in the bones, it will be severe; if it lies in the blood clotting and not flowing; if it lies in the tendons and muscles, they will be bent and not extended; if it lies in the flesh, it will lack benevolence; if it lies in the skin, it will be cold. Therefore, those who possess these five qualities will not experience pain. For all conditions like arthralgia, it becomes acute when exposed to cold and acute when exposed to heat. The emperor said, "Good."
