Therefore, the sage eats enough to fill the void and receive qi, wears enough clothes to cover the body and keep warm, is content with emotions and refills, does not be greedy for gains, does not accumulate much, has clear eyes and does not look, has quiet ears and does not listen, keeps silent, endures and does not worry, gives up intelligence, reverts to simplicity, stops the spirit, disregards knowledge, and has no likes or dislikes. This is called great enlightenment. To eliminate impurities and burdens, there is no better way than to first break away from the essence. What is it that cannot be accomplished?" Those who understand the harmony of health preservation should not place benefits on them. Those who connect the internal and external aspects should not be lured by power. There is no external aspect, which is the greatest; there is no internal aspect, which is the most precious. If one can understand the greatest value, where can one not succeed?
