The five flavors entering the body: sour enters the liver, pungent enters the lungs, bitter enters the heart, human kidneys, and sweet enters the spleen. These are called the five people. The diseases caused by the five qi: the heart is irritated, the lung is coughing, the liver is speaking, the tongue is swallowing, the kidney is deficient and sneezing, the stomach is qi rebellion and sighing and fear, the large intestine and small intestine are diarrhea, the overflow of the lower jiao is water, the bladder is loose and not in good condition is cancer, and the gallbladder is anger. These are called the five numbing and five essence conversions: when essence and qi are converged in the heart, they are happy; when they are converged in the lung, they are sad; when they are converged in the liver, they are worried; when they are converged in the tongue, they are afraid; when they are converged in the kidney, they are afraid. These are called the five Wells. It is a combination of emptiness and unity. The five organs' detests: the heart detests heat, the lungs detest cold, the liver detests wind, the spleen detests dampness, and the kidneys detest dryness. These are called the Five detests. The five viscera transform into fluids: the heart generates sweat, the lungs produce nasal discharge, the liver generates tears, the spleen generates birth, and the kidneys generate saliva. These are known as the five fluids. Five flavors should be avoided: Pungent flavors expel qi, and people with qi disorders should not consume too much pungent food. When blood flows and blood disorders occur, one should not consume too much energy. If you have bone diseases, you won't have to endure much hardship. Moreover, people with meat diseases should not consume too much sweet food. Eating too much sour food can affect the tendons. People with tendon diseases should avoid eating too much sour food. This is called the "Five Prohibitions". Eating too much without a proper diet. The causes of the five diseases: Yin diseases originate from the bones, Yang diseases from the blood, Yin diseases from the flesh, Yang diseases from winter, and Yin diseases from summer. The five pathogenic factors: those who have the autumn meridian, those who have various meridians in summer, those who have the spring meridian in long summer, and those who have multiple meridians in autumn, each having the long summer meridian, are called the emerging Yang. The disease is prone to anger and cannot be cured. This is called the five pathogenic factors. All have the same fate and will die without cure. The five viscera store: The heart stores the spirit, the lungs store the soul, the liver stores the spirit, the spleen stores the will, and the kidneys store the will. This is what is called the Five viscera Store. The five organs govern: the heart governs the meridians, the lungs govern the skin, the liver governs the tendons, the spleen governs the flesh, and the kidneys govern the bones. These are called the Five organs. The injuries caused by the five kinds of overwork: Prolonged staring harms the blood, prolonged lying harms the qi, prolonged sitting harms the flesh, prolonged standing harms the bones, and prolonged walking harms the tendons. This is what is called the injuries caused by the five kinds of overwork. The five meridians correspond to each other: the liver meridian is taunt, the heart meridian is hooked, the spleen meridian is subcutaneous, the lung meridian is hairy, and the kidney meridian is stone. These are called the meridians of the five internal organs.
