The Mozhen Well Taoist Temple

Entering the gate of the Needle Grinding Well, a group of small and exquisite Qing Dynasty buildings come into view. The Ancestral Master Hall stands on a high platform facing west to east, while the Granny Pavilion on the south side is exquisite and transparent with upturned eaves raised high. The courtyard paved with bluestone slabs is spacious and bright, and the north and south side rooms are simple and elegant. Although this group of buildings does not follow the traditional central axis layout, they are still well-arranged, with clear priorities and ingenious design. On both sides of the steps leading to the main hall, two iron pestles as thick as bowl mouths are inserted into the ground, highlighting the profound humanistic connotations of the needle-grinding well. The needle-grinding well built under the Mu Mu Pavilion is even more evocating. Approaching here, we can't help but be impressed by the ingenious architectural concepts of the ancients.
