The main hall of the Fuzhen Temple, also known as the "Ancestral Master Hall". It is the main building of the Divine area along the central axis and also the climax part of the entire complex. Through the construction of the Nine-bend Yellow River Wall, the screen wall, the first courtyard, the Dragon and Tiger Hall and other buildings, a high platform rises in the second courtyard. The magnificent hall on the high platform immediately gives people a sense of might, solemnity and dignity. The main hall was ordered to be built in the 10th year of the Yongle reign of the Ming Dynasty and expanded during the Jiajing period. It was severely damaged during the Ming Dynasty. In the 25th year of the Kangxi reign of the Qing Dynasty, CAI Yuan, the general of Xiangyang Prefecture in Hubei and Hunan, was ordered to repair it and advocated donations from officials, Taoists, and scholars. It took five years to complete the entire construction of the main hall, buildings, and corridors. Due to the donations from local officials and folk believers during the Qing Dynasty, although it was difficult to maintain the original royal status of the building, many folk practices were added instead. The main hall was originally in the form of a hip-and-gable palace. In the Qing Dynasty, it was changed to a hard-topped hall. It features a large wooden frame with a raised beam, with a width of 17 meters and a depth of 9 meters. The beam beams are all painted in color. Here, people can simultaneously see the remnants of architectural techniques and art from both the Ming and Qing dynasties.
