The stele outside the Liangyi Hall of the Nan Yan Palace

#Nan Yan ·2022-08-20 23:32:13

The two large characters "Nan Yan" written in regular script in front of the Liangyi Hall of Nan Yan Palace are the handwriting of Mu Xin. Mu Xin, during the Yongle period of the Ming Dynasty, was one of the "general managers" in charge of the construction of the palaces and temples on Wudang Mountain. At that time, he was responsible for mobilizing 300,000 soldiers, civilians and craftsmen to carry out major renovations on Wudang Mountain.
