#Golden Summit ·2022-08-20 23:32:13

The Zhongguan Taoist Temple, also known as "Ziyue Qiongtai". According to historical records, the Zhongguan was built in the Yuan Dynasty. At that time, it was relatively small in scale. Currently, a stone hall from the Yuan Dynasty is still preserved. In the 16th year of Yongle in the Ming Dynasty, the temple was rebuilt and became one of the important architectural complexes on Wudang Mountain. During the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, a large-scale expansion was carried out. However, it was destroyed by war in the sixth year of the Xianfeng reign of the Qing Dynasty. By the end of the Qing Dynasty, only 12 Youdao rooms remained. In 1995, the cultural relics department of Wudang Mountain carried out repairs on the main hall and other buildings. Since 1999, the Taoist Association of Wudang Mountain has conducted large-scale renovations on the entire Taoist temple.
