In front of the Huanglong Cave Pavilion

Although the sacred path leading to the Golden Summit of Wudang Mountain is paved with stone steps, the mountain is high and the rocks are steep. After a long climb, it is inevitable to feel tired. However, at this moment, when tourists look up, they will find an ancient Dan pavilion hidden under the thick shade, with the inscription "Huanglong Cave" on its forehead. This is a typical small-scale building in the ancient architectural complex of Wudang Mountain. The architectural concept is extremely ingenious. Whether it is the color tone, volume, shape or location, it caters to people's dual physical and psychological needs. Amidst the lofty mountains and deep valleys, the shade of the trees is thick and the clear stream rushes forward, creating a delightful scene that evokes the atmosphere of a secluded pavilion in the mountains. Passers-by all stop here to take a short rest. The Huanglong Cave in Wudang Mountain is associated with medicine. Historically, it was renowned for the Huanglong Cave Eye Medicine and the Ba Ding Zi Jin Ding medicinal herb. Above the pavilion, there are four plaques. Two of them read "Famous throughout the World", while the other two describe how to take the medicine of the world-famous Huanglong Cave and what diseases it can treat, etc. Some experts believe that this is the only Ming Dynasty advertising board discovered on Wudang Mountain, because the price of the medicine is clearly marked on this board.
