As long as we forget our age and liberate ourselves psychologically, we will surely regain our youth. The fourth is to forget one's physical form. Zhuangzi said, "The elderly forget their form." That is to say, when cultivating oneself and maintaining good health, one should forget the existence of one's aging body. In this way, there will be nothing to fear. When encountering illness, if one can face it correctly, without being pessimistic, anxious or negative, and actively receive treatment, it will naturally be conducive to defeating the disease and recovering the body. The fifth is to downplay clothing and food. Don't be too demanding of your daily life and diet. We should face up to the physiological changes in old age, stay in a quiet and peaceful environment, dress warmly, eat light food, avoid extravagance and waste, and refrain from indulging in food and drink. Avoid harming your body and mind as a result. The sixth is a sense of indifference. All joys, sorrows, anger and happiness should be forgotten with equanimity, allowing one's expression to be detached. Forgetting means not disturbing oneself, not feeling sad for oneself, not sinking into depression, and being able to regard what exists as if it doesn't, with a broad and open-minded attitude. The last one is making friends in Danshui. The ancients said, "A gentleman's conversation is like water." When making friends, we should also follow this ancient adage. Making friends is beneficial for people of any age. Making one or two close friends brings even more benefits. It helps to eliminate feelings of loss, loneliness and isolation. Friendship lies in sharing the same aspirations and being in harmony. It is not about exchanging gifts but about emotional communication, mutual assistance, learning from each other's strengths to make up for one's weaknesses, and adding to the joy. This will make one's later years more fulfilling and beautiful, keep one physically and mentally healthy, and prolong one's life.
