How GUI Liang lived a long and healthy life, and even achieved longevity and long-term vision, is a science that explores the mysteries of life. What is immortality and long-term vision? That is to take longevity one step further, on the basis of fulfilling one's natural lifespan, to extend the limit of life. For thousands of years, ancient Chinese practitioners of health preservation have been struggling against death and have accumulated rich experience and knowledge on the path to longevity and long-term vision. They take nature as the object of simulation for their cultivation. Some people learn the art of adding and drawing to receive life from grafting old trees, some understand the method of breathing and stopping the pulse from the hibernation of animals, and there are also the techniques of holding the baby's grip and fetal breathing, etc. In particular, in-depth research has been conducted on some long-lived animals, such as turtles and deer, providing significant enlightenment for practitioners of health preservation who pursue longevity. The Yellow Court Classic states: "The deer can move its tailbone to connect the Governor Vessel, and the turtle can breathe through its nose to connect the Ren vessel. Therefore, both can lead to longevity." Ancient scholars devoted their entire lives' energy, financial resources and material resources in pursuit of longevity and the path to long-term vision. The Baopuzi states: "The world says that a single word of kindness is worth more than a thousand pieces of gold. If you impart the key to immortality, how could it be less than a thousand pieces of gold?" It is precisely because they are determined and persevere in exploring the mysteries of the human body, and after thousands of years of cultivation and practice, they have gradually summarized a set of methods that can achieve longevity and long-term vision. This is a precious legacy in traditional Chinese culture that still shines with the light of scientific wisdom to this day, and it is also the crystallization of the painstaking efforts of generations of practitioners of cultivation and health preservation. Nowadays, both at home and abroad, the academic circle regards it as an eternal masterpiece, and those who master this art are as few as stars. The author merely combined the classic medical theory system of our motherland with the works of successive practitioners of cultivation and health preservation, and ultimately concluded that to achieve longevity and long-term vision, it is essential to unblock the Ren and Du meridians. Ancient people believed that the human body was originally a small world. During cultivation, the Dharma followed the operation of heaven and earth. First, the Yang energy was used to break through the hundred meridians. The Ren and Du meridians both belong to the eight extraordinary meridians and are all Yin spirits, closed and not open. Only immortals could break through with Yang energy, thus achieving enlightenment. Then, the small world of the human body was integrated into the vast universe of heaven and earth, which is why it is called the "Zhou Tian". The human body is composed of the Ren and Du meridians, thus it is divided into the Greater and Lesser celestial meridians. The minor cycle is the cycle of qi movement, and the major cycle is the cycle of divine movement. Practitioners of cultivation and health preservation believe that if one can complete the small weekly practice, they will be rejuvenated in terms of energy and have a strong body, thus they are bound to live a long life and are called immortals. Among those who eventually achieved success in their cultivation and lived a long life were Zhang Ziyang of the Southern Sect at the age of 96, Shi Tai at 137, and Xue Daoguang at 114. The Northern Sect: Zhang Zhichun was 120 years old and Wang Changyue was 159 years old. This was a miracle in the environment at that time and also reached the limit of life. However, there are many cultivators or those without enlightened teachers to guide them or who fail to learn the methods or are restricted by certain conditions. Despite their diligent and arduous practice, they ultimately achieve nothing and cannot reach longevity, let alone achieve long-term vision. Since childhood, I have been passionate about traditional Chinese medicine, especially developing a strong interest in acupuncture. Later, under the guidance of a master, I diligently studied acupuncture techniques for over ten times. After consulting the works on cultivation and health preservation throughout history, I discovered a path that combines medical science with alchemy, and figured out the method of using acupuncture to unblock the Ren and Du meridians, thus opening up a shortcut for those seeking longevity. It also creates a new path for those who are determined to cultivate to a higher level and achieve immortality and longevity. The author believes that the way of medicine is connected to the way of immortals. From this, it can be realized that there are similarities between acupuncture techniques and the theories of Taoist cultivation, and they complement the theories of traditional Chinese medicine. Taoist cultivation pays the most attention to the innate one 炁, and the innate one 炁 is stored in the kidneys. In the elixir classic "Zhonglv Chuandao Ji", it is stated: "The river chariot originates from the true water in the north. The kidneys store the true qi, and the true qi generated by the true qi is called the river chariot." The "Jade Clarity Golden Chest Green Flower Secret Text Golden Treasure Inner Alchemy Technique" states: "The primordial energy flows throughout the body, but it is exclusively collected and utilized in the kidney area. Why is that?" The path of the kidney Mansion leads directly to the qi point Huangting, which is one. The kidney is the residence of essence. When essence is abundant, it directly attracts the essence and makes use of it. This is the second point. Zhou Liu is difficult to apply in other places, but can be recognized in the Jingfu. This is the third point. When the heart qi penetrates the kidney spirit, it reaches its destination. Those who collect it will find it easy to exert force. This is the fourth point. Since there are these four, the true Yang is collected from the ear of the kidney. According to the traditional Chinese medicine "Nanjing", the two are not both kidneys. The one on the left is the kidney, and the one on the right is the life gate. The life gate is the abode of all the gods and spirits. The source of the original qi is to store the essence for men and to bind the testicles for women. Therefore, the kidney is the foundation of the internal organs, the root of the twelve meridians, the source of respiration, the origin of the three jiao, the spirit that guards against evil, and the origin of human resources. Therefore, it is said: The foundation of the innate constitution lies in the kidneys. In the chapter "The Ancient Theory of the True Nature" of the "Plain Questions", it is mentioned that the growth process of a person is closely related to kidney qi and directly affects a person's growth and development, determining the entire life process of a person. In Taoist practice of the minor circulation, the Yang essence in the kidneys is transformed into Yang 炁. Through the reverse flow of heat to the Ren and du meridians, it reaches the dantian, thus achieving the unity of qi and spirit, supplementing the acquired constitution, and eliminating all diseases. The Ren and Du meridians have always been highly regarded by medical practitioners. Traditional Chinese medicine holds that the Ren and Du meridians are the sea of Yang meridians and the sea of Yin meridians respectively. Hua Borun said, "The Ren and Du meridians have the same origin but are different." One line before the body, one line after the body. Having Ren Du in one's body is like the meridian of heaven and earth, capable of division and unity. By dividing, we can see that Yin and Yang are inseparable; by uniting, we can see that they are in perfect harmony. "One and two, two and one." It can be seen that there are twelve meridians in the human body, with the Ren and Du meridians as the general outline. The Du Meridian belongs to Yang, and when traveling, one should focus on the waist and back. The Ren Meridian belongs to Yin and runs through the human body, chest and abdomen. It controls the Yin and Yang meridians on both sides of it and follows their respective directions. Therefore, the twelve meridians converge at the Ren and Du meridians. Therefore, the twelve meridians are attached to the Ren and Du meridians. The Nanjing holds that the twelve main meridians are like ditches and the extraordinary meridians are like rivers and marshes. When the main meridians are abundant, they will overflow into the extraordinary meridians. Conversely, as long as the Ren and Du meridians are unblocked by acupuncture, the other twelve meridians will naturally become unobstructed and have the effect of replenishing the deficiency of qi and blood in the twelve meridians. The main contents of the Taoist practice of the "Little Cycle" are: gathering, sealing, refining and stopping. The process of extracting the innate one 炁 and elevating it. "Feng" means that after gathering the herbs, the descending essence and energy are collected and returned to the lower dantian for sealing and fixation. The process of refining involves adjusting the heat to make it move up and down. The term "stop" means that the river chariot stops running when it reaches a certain point. Therefore, as long as the four processes of "collecting", "sealing", "refining" and "stopping" are followed, combined with time and acupuncture techniques, the small cycle operation can also be completed. All the reverse cultivation practices in Taoism are aimed at the function of returning. The direction of the Ren and Du meridians in the meridians is that the Du meridian runs from top to bottom and the Ren meridian runs from bottom to top. However, Taoist cultivation is the opposite, known as the reversal of the river and the chariot. Therefore, by using the innate one 炁 to unblock the Ren and du meridians, in simple terms, it can make up for the postnatal conditions and eliminate all diseases. In a deeper sense, its innate one 炁 can eventually enlighten the physical body to the afterlife, transforming it into a clear and spiritual essence. When the practice is complete, it is pure Yang. To use acupuncture to open up the small circulation, the first step is to stimulate the innate first 炁 in the kidney with acupuncture. The key lies in the coordination of the liver and kidney meridians. The Inner Classic states: "The liver is the root of the cessation and the abode of the soul." Its luster is in the claws, its fullness is in the tendons, it generates blood and qi, its taste is sour, and its color is blue. This is the Lesser Yang within Yang, which is associated with the spring qi." The liver belongs to wood and is located in the east. It is the beginning of occurrence, thus generating blood and qi. It also governs the qi of spring and is the starting point of the generation of Yang qi. The kidney is the root of the vital energy and the abode of the spirit. The liver belongs to the wood element in the five Elements theory and is produced by the water of the kidney, that is, water nourishes wood. Therefore, by combining the liver and kidney meridians, the Yang qi generated by the liver is taken to assist the innate 炁 ascending in the kidney, and it also has the wonderful effect of tonifying qi and generating blood. When combined with techniques and time, it can stimulate the innate 炁, and the innate 炁 originates from the innate essence, which is formed by steaming with the fire of the life gate. During the acupuncture process, first expel all the Yin pathogenic qi in the body, then make the two kidneys warm, insert a point of primordial Yang through the coccyx, pass through the spine, and apply mud pills. At this time, the six senses vibrate, and then move the needle to guide and lower it, and seal it in the dantian. This process is completed in one go. It is said that when 炁 is full, the ren and du meridians will naturally open. There is no false effort, and everything will fall into place naturally. At this point, the ren and Du meridians are unobstructed, naturally replenishing the acquired constitution and returning to the innate constitution. All diseases will be free, and the essence and energy will be abundant. After the acupuncture is completed, it can naturally circulate throughout the body. Here are two cases to be presented, using the internal scenes of their acupuncture processes to corroborate the Elixir classics. Mr. Sun, a 22-year-old unmarried man, invited me to treat him due to stomach pain. On the 8th day of the 1st lunar month of the 93rd year, at the intersection of Hai and Zi, after the needle was inserted, there was a stinging sensation at the acupuncture site. The qi reached the back, causing the person being needled to a shaking of the back and inability to control themselves. The Mingmen point began to feel warm, and then the warmth gradually spread to the perineum. At the same time, cold air was expelled from the extremities, and then the kidneys became hot. It felt as if the Mingmen and Changqiang points were connected into one, and the qi rose directly to the mud pills. Then, the needle was moved to lower the qi over the upper floor to the stomach. There was a distinct sense of heat at that spot, and the original pain gradually disappeared. The heat continued to spread in all directions, and the qi directly descended to the dantian. At this time, there was a feeling of emptiness throughout the body, and the breathing was deep and long. One hour after the needle was inserted, I felt as if I had merged with the energy of heaven and earth. When I opened my eyes, there was a shining sensation. After the needle was removed, I felt light and energetic. A 28-year-old married man, Yu, had been suffering from persistent soreness in his waist and sought medical treatment for acupuncture. On the 10th day of the 4th lunar month in 2000, at the intersection of Hai and Zi, due to insufficient kidney qi and cold invasion, he experienced soreness and pain in his kidneys. After the injection, he felt pain in his left kidney and cold air was expelled from his limbs. Subsequently, the soreness in his left kidney disappeared, followed by a fever. Fifteen minutes later, both kidneys became hot, and he felt a sensation at the life gate. A stream of qi ascends directly to the Dazhui point and remains there. The author constantly stimulated it with techniques, enabling it to be directly applied to the clay balls. At this moment, the person being needled has turbid qi expelled from their body, and at the same time, this qi is directly surging towards the mud pill. The author then moved the needle to lower the qi. The person being needled felt that the qi in the head rushed directly to the Yongquan point in an instant. The Dai meridian also felt a radiating electric shock sensation in an instant, and then felt that the qi was distributed throughout the body. The author uses acupuncture techniques to restore all the qi in the body to the dantian and seal it. After the acupuncture is completed, it can flow freely throughout the body, ensuring its continuous circulation. In the author's opinion, when writing, it is not about collecting wealth and being rich in quantity, but rather about being broad and concise, avoiding being extensive and reducing it. One should focus on simplicity to control complexity, grasp the main points, and cover all aspects. In all battles, one should adhere to the form, the spirit, the key points and the mechanism. In all battles, one should unite with the right and win with the strange. The strange and the right complement each other, like an endless cycle. Who can exhaust it? Therefore, this acupuncture technique is not limited to unblocking the Ren and Du meridians. When combined with the Zi Wu Liu Zhu acupuncture technique in the treatment of diseases, the effect will be more obvious. The author, in the treatment of acute and chronic lumbar intervertebral disc protrusion and various diseases such as low back and leg pain, used this acupuncture technique to nourish the true fire of the life gate and achieved excellent therapeutic effects. Generally, improvement or even complete recovery can be seen after two or three sessions. Therefore, the author believes that by applying this acupuncture technique to unblock the Ren and Du meridians, not only can stubborn diseases be cured, but also life can be prolonged without illness. It also lays a solid foundation for the cultivation of the essence and the establishment of the foundation for the alchemists. Moreover, the younger the age, the more obvious the effect. Because the younger one is, the more abundant the three treasures of essence, energy and spirit are, and the foundation of one's life is solid. However, married people are often in a state of deficiency, with insufficient three treasures and unstable foundation of life. Therefore, it is necessary to first nourish the qi of the liver and kidneys until the original energy is sufficient. The above content is the author's personal insights and experiences gained from over a decade of research on acupuncture techniques and how to maintain health. Given the author's limited proficiency, there are still some shortcomings. We hope readers can offer criticism and corrections. At the same time, the author also hopes to have the opportunity to exchange and learn with those who are passionate and to conduct research together. The author's experience: The author has visited the Beijing Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine several times to study the Ziwu Liuzhu acupuncture technique. The Ziwu Liuzhu acupuncture technique is an advanced classical acupuncture method in the field of acupuncture. On a small scale, it is a method of matching acupoints in acupuncture. On a larger scale, it originates from the Five Elements and Six Qi and encompasses the entire classic medical theory system of our motherland. Therefore, it can be described as an advanced acupuncture technique that is "vast and profound in the universe, and minute and detailed in every detail". In the Zi Wu Liu acupuncture technique, the Na Jia method and Na Zi method complement each other, enabling the circulation of qi and blood in the twelve meridians of the human body to be in harmony with the natural cycle phenomena, thereby achieving better therapeutic effects. Through years of clinical application, the author has found that although the Ziwu Liuzhu acupuncture method has its unique features, it also has its limitations. For instance, its acupuncture technique can only be performed by opening acupoints at regular times, choosing meridians or acupoints with vigorous qi and blood for needling, but it cannot mobilize the qi and blood of the entire body to promote and unblock the meridians at the lesion site. The author racked his brains over how to first replenish the body's vital energy through acupuncture techniques, and then guide the vital energy to unblock the local meridians, achieving both symptomatic and fundamental treatment effects. The author referred to various books on regulating qi, guiding and guiding, and alchemy, and was inspired. The author believes that this method is an elevation of the Zi Wu Liu Zhu. This acupuncture technique has achieved remarkable therapeutic effects in clinical practice.
