The Secret Formula of the Immortal Legend

#Health-preserving ·2022-08-20 23:32:13

Chen Xubai's method of cultivating immortality lies in concentrating the mind into the qi point, which is the Yuan Guan orifice. This orifice is located beneath the heart and above the kidney, in the middle of the void, facing the navel chakra in front and the kidney at the back. It is the foundation for one's life and existence. The innate qi condenses into one's nature, and the acquired qi accumulates into one's destiny. The source of life and death, the foundation of life and death, and the time and death of a person all depend on this. The seeds of immortals and sages are also contained here. If one understands this key point and focuses on nurturing the mind, then one's destiny lies in oneself. If one is ignorant of this and allows one's heart to act, one's fate will be determined by heaven. When making the next move, determine the entrance of the gateway with your heart. Then, follow the method of mutual dependence of heart and breath. Inhale into it, and when you inhale, it should be continuous; when you exhale, it should be gentle. Before the exhalation is completed, follow with the inhalation. If the mind does not focus on the orifices, even if the breath enters, but the spirit does not concentrate, it cannot be closed. One must always be inseparable before it is possible. If the breath does not enter the orifices, then even if the mind is still, the qi will not flow through, and the orifices will not open either. One must return to one's roots thoroughly before doing so. Even if both the mind and the breath are present, if they are allowed to enter and exit freely, the qi will not gather, and the qi will not open either. Just as Zhongli said, "Take in more and go out less." Take all these three into account, do not help or forget them, and handle them with moderation and urgency. "Never forget" means to keep working hard without ceasing, and "never help" means there is no need to encourage or help. When the spirit is calm and the qi is full, filling the dantian, the orifices will surely open and the essence will surely reach. For instance, in a secret room, a wisp of cigarette is initially very faint. But if the fire never stops, the smoke gradually fills the room, and all the openings of the empty passage are just places where it penetrates. The true qi of the human body first enters the abdomen, gradually opens the orifices, and then spreads to the limbs and bones. It is the same. If one can accumulate qi, essence will be produced. It does not linger for a short period of time. As true qi flows freely, true essence will naturally emerge. It is said that nine turns into a great medicine, and the sound of a single pill reveals a divine power. Once this orifice is opened, all other orifices will be opened. When one is ill, there will be a slight heat and pain after the illness, either within three or four days or seven or eight days, and the pain will stop, and the illness will also disappear. When one is free from illness, they receive assistance, even during sexual intercourse to restore the elixir, achieving rebirth and transcendence from the divine. All are accomplished when the time comes and the wisdom opens up, without the aid of human effort. When the true essence is born, as long as the qi is abundant and the spirit is full, it does not last all day but reaches all limbs and bones, and the skin is like the movement of insects. Work so hard without letting go for a moment. The Ren and Du meridians converge at the lips, and the Kan is far from the universe. The small Zhou and the large Zhou, the three carts and the three fields, the brave spring on the head and face, can reach everywhere. If one does not let go of it at all times, the effect is boundless. Each one is different, forming and transforming the womb, the sun and the moon come together, reaching a state of perfection. From this incantation, one can always have a profound understanding, all naturally and naturally, without knowing the reason behind it. When a person acquires the completeness of both Yin and Yang qi, their innate and innate abilities are derived later. The innate is pure Yang. The acquired is pure Yin. All are manifested as human beings from top to bottom, endowed with life and mission, all contain the true essence, the primordial energy, the ultimate emptiness and truth, pure and upright, all can be immortals or sages, without distinction of high or low, all can be attained together. Little do people know that what they obtain as human beings, apart from a bit of the innate pure Yang primordial energy, the so-called eyes, ears, mouth, nose, heart, liver, spleen, lungs, kidneys, nasal discharge, saliva, body fluids, as well as the skin, tiger claws, hair, all the bones and nine orifices, all the limbs, from the top to the heaviest, are all formed by the combination of the four false elements of pure Yin creation after birth. The primordial energy is hazy and indistinct, elusive and mysterious. It contains substance but not substance, essence but not essence. It is neither present nor absent, neither dead nor alive. It is invisible and unattainable. Its vastness is boundless, encompassing all phenomena; its subtlety is insubstantial, not allowing even a drop. It should be known that within the human body, there is a point that reaches the void to store it, and the Xuanguan orifice is it. Those who gain it are immortals, while those who lose it are ghosts. Those who gain it are rarely heard of, but those who lose it are often countless. Alas, no one in the world can protect themselves. A little innate ancestral energy often flows into the later life. Therefore, the three corpses cause harm, the nine insects feed on the essence, the six thieves steal the form, the seven emotions consume the spirit, the five desires control the heart, all things are vast and boundless, all kinds of organs are dazzled and confused, the ears listen to sounds, the mouth is fond of flavors, all of these are present, and thus the appearance is attached. When the appearance is outward, the mechanism enters through the eyes, that is, it enters within. Therefore, when the heart is stirred, the emotion is stirred within, and the essence is bound to be shaken. If one loses its essence, it will surely consume its energy. The form and spirit are hard to come by. One is in a state of confusion and delusion, indulging in thoughts and emotions. Things wear down the body, the essence is scattered and the spirit is scattered. The true self is detached from the heart. The innate energy is gradually eroded, and one wanders and wanders in the realm of innate death. My Daoist ancestor, Laojun, had compassion for him, and thus the Great Way came into being. Teach people the idea of return. "Return" means returning to one's original state. "Return" means to restore. However, those who return to the afterlife merely return to their innate state. Since the name of the Golden Elixir was established, the way of the Golden Elixir was written, and the book of the Golden Elixir was published. It is said that the golden elixir is not non-existent, and the Great Way is not existent. Existence gives rise to nothingness, and nothingness creates something. The way of the golden elixir is not non-existent but non-existent. And the so-called medicinal herbs, heat control, and cauldrons, are they indeed existent? Could there be none? Is it also a false image of the Dharma to clarify the great way? Because the two characters "Xu Jin Dan" have symbolic meanings, it means that to cast gold, there must be a cauldron and furnace; to cultivate elixirs, there must be a miraculous medicine; and to refine medicine, there must be the right heat. It was then that this name was established. The primordial weather is regarded as medicine, the celestial orifice as the stove and cauldron, and the ingenious use of the primordial spirit as the heat control. Through daily and monthly tempering, always keeping in mind, and achieving great success, one can be transformed, transcend the mundane and reach the sacred. The essence of the great way is nothing more than this. Later generations of alchemy books often fail to truly point out the origin of creation and the sequence of their efforts. They merely set up false appearances and talk about dreams, misleading later generations. As for drugs: They are called Qian Kun, Kan Li, Yin and Yang, lead and mercury, Wood liquid and gold essence, cinnabar and mercury, Sun Soul and Moon Spirit, Black essence and rabbit Marrow, Blue Dragon and White Tiger, Black Turtle and Red Snake, Jiao Li and Fire Jujube, Yellow tooth and white Snow, male and female, black and white, if they are not the same, they are all common names for drugs. The innate primordial energy is the medicine. Apart from the innate ancestral energy of the head, are there any other so-called medicines? When it comes to cauldrons and furnaces, they are called "Divine Furnace", "Elixir Cave", "Spirit Altar", "Divine Room", "Yellow Room", "Crimson Palace", "Wu Ji", "Yellow Center", "Bright Hall", "Void Valley", "Cinnabar Cauldron", and "Crescent Moon Furnace". If they are not the same, they are all different names for cauldrons and furnaces. The Yuan Guan Orifice is the cauldron and furnace. Could there be any other so-called cauldron and furnace beyond the Xuan Orifice? In terms of the degree of fire: the names for the various degrees of fire, such as "calculating the cycle of heaven", "measuring the tide", "following 卦爻", "using wen and wu", "accurately measuring hui and shuo", "tuning strings and observing", "clearly drawing and adding", "comprehending advance and retreat", "weighing jin and liang", "body punishment and virtue", "bathing and bathing", "doing gou fu", and "if" are not the same, all are common names for the degree of fire. The wonderful application of the primordial spirit lies in the control of heat. Could there be any so-called "heat control" beyond the wondrous functions of the primordial spirit? I dare not repeat the words of my predecessors to deceive them. Instead, I directly point to the essence of the Golden Elixir path and speak in an orderly manner. The first step is to set up the stove and cauldron, the second is to take the medicine, and the third is to control the heat. Apart from the three, I dare not gain anything more. Who sets up the cauldron? That is to guard the entrance hall. It is the orifice hidden in the primordial chaos, concealed within the realm of non-existence and non-existence. The parents had this orifice before giving birth to this body, and they had this orifice and this body. It is what is called being born with it. Since the primordial pearl is placed in emptiness and nothingness, it reaches five zhang above and below the ground, neither up nor down, neither left nor right, neither forward nor backward, neither large inside nor large outside, neither existing nor non-existing. It reaches the Crimson Palace above and winds around the mud balls, and connects to the dantian below and reaches the Yongquan Spring. It penetrates the void above and below, and thus connects to the Yellow River. This is the perfect place for setting up furnaces and tripods! What is the gathering of drugs? It still retains a bit of the primordial aura of the primordial primordial. It is the qi that emerges before the formless and shapeless, converging within the unpivot and the supreme pivot. Before the parents were born, they were ingeniously combined and condensed. There was no such body, but there was this qi, this qi, and this body. This qi flows and circulates without emptiness. The form is formed by it, the mind becomes empty by it, the ears and eyes become intelligent by it, the primordial essence becomes stable and calm by it, the primordial spirit flows by it, and my body is transformed by it. When dispersed, they blend seamlessly; when gathered, they solidify into medicine. This is the great medicine for cultivating golden elixirs. What is the person who controls the heat? This is the nourishment of the natural application of the essence and spirit. It is the fire that occurs in the trance of the true essence, steaming within the limbs and bones. Originally, it has no form. How could there be a sign? When the primordial spirit scatters, it turns into qi; when it gathers, it turns into fire. Their gathering and scattering, their rising and falling, circulate and flow ceaselessly, keeping pace with The Times and aligning with them. Or, the year and hour, the hour and moment, Zi, Wu, MAO, You, Yin, Shen, Yi, Hai, Chen, Xu, Chou, Wei, morning tun, evening Meng, later Kun PI, the sixty-four hexagrams, twenty-four qi, seventy-two hou, twenty-eight constellations of the week, and the 365 degrees of the week are called hou. Little do they know that in the time when chaos has not yet been divided, how could there be years, months, days and hours? How could Jia, GUI, Zi and Hai be predicted? Most likely, true fire is the operation of the primordial spirit, and the primordial spirit is the wonderful function of true fire. True fire follows true breath, true breath refines true qi, true qi transforms into true essence, true essence returns to the primordial spirit, the primordial spirit emits true fire, and true essence forms elixirs. The entry and exit of true breath, whether it is the advance and retreat of true fire or the addition of literature and martial arts, all come naturally and spontaneously. At first, they do not arise in a cluster following thoughts. If they are ignited in the source and cannot be stopped, they are not the innate true fire but the ordinary fire acquired later in life. Now, when the cultivator begins to lay the foundation, he must first make his mind as still as water without waves, as vast as the void without clouds, in a state of complete stillness and stillness. Then, in the state of opening a mysterious orifice, he will do the work that his parents did before they were born. Concentrate the true breath and true energy, so that the energy does not depart from the breath and the breath does not depart from the energy, and they are united as one. What is inside does not exit, and what is outside does not enter. It flows up and down within one orifice. It is continuous and lingering, like a bit of the primordial ancestral energy before birth in the womb of one's biological parents, grand and powerful, warm as spring, intoxicating as intoxication. The beauty lies within, intoxicating to the face, to the back, and to the limbs, which are self-evident. It shows no form. The pursuit of formlessness lies in the entrance hall at every moment. When guided to the fullest, the medicine returns to the cauldron and the heat is ready. In this way, the primordial spirit is naturally utilized, with the true fire flowing and circulating within the entrance hall. Gradually, it is refined and solidified. The true essence grows day by day, and its strength deepens. From small to large, from minute to significant, the formation of the black pearl and the formation of the holy womb are all done naturally, without knowing the reason. It is divine from the divine, without knowing why it is divine. Just like a child hiding in his mother's womb, he exhales and inhales at any time, gathering the energy of emptiness and harmony, thus forming an unyielding body throughout the ages. So that the womb was full for ten months and gave birth to a baby, a general image of myself in the mother's womb before I was born. Then, diligently increase the practice of nurturing and warming, the true qi becomes gentle, always keeping it in mind, whether in movement or stillness, speech or silence, one's nature remains unbroken. When the nourishment is sufficient, the body becomes empty. Thus, it can split through the primordial chaos, chisel through the chaos, and reveal its true nature. There is a body outside the body, freely and unrestrains, with no way to change. Note: The above article was kindly provided by the forum user "Hua Yi SAN Ren". "Research on Dan Dao", Issue 2, 1999.
