The first high-quality short drama of our city, "Smiling at Wudang", planned by Shiyan Media Convergence Center, is about to start shooting. Now, five actors are being publicly selected throughout the city. Those who are successfully selected will have the opportunity to perform on the same stage with Lin Junyi, an actor from a popular CCTV drama.

At present, the Shiyan Media Convergence Center is holding a selection competition for actors of "Smiling at Wudang". Lin Junyi, a big-screen actor from Shiyan, will serve as the executive producer and male lead of this drama. We sincerely invite you who love short plays and want to act in them to also come to the production team to give it a try and experience the thrill of being an actor.

"Laughing at Wudang" tells the story of Guo Xiaoxiang, a female doctor from the foot of Wudang Mountain, who is reborn and returns. There, she meets and gets to know Zhang Shanfeng, a disciple of Wudang Mountain. Together with her companions, they fight against foreign enemies, protect the medical clinic, the people and the country. The aim is to bring Wudang culture to life and make traditional spirit trendy.

Application Requirements: Age between 18 and 65, passionate about performing, serious in attitude, punctual and trustworthy, able to cooperate with the production team's arrangements. Gender, appearance and temperament are not restricted. Both those with and without performance experience are eligible to apply.

The open audition will be held on April 17th, 18th and 19th, from 9:00 to 11:00 and from 15:00 to 17:00 each day. Citizens participating in the selection competition are required to introduce themselves, showcase their talents or perform film and television clips on the spot, with a time limit of no more than 5 minutes.

After being selected, you will obtain the official qualification to perform in micro-short dramas, join professional production teams, perform on the same stage with veteran actors, experience the formal shooting process, and accumulate real experience.
