Qin Chu Feng News (Correspondent Wang Wei) The Qingming Festival holiday is approaching, and the Wudang Mountain Scenic Area is experiencing a peak in spring outings and blessing trips. To ensure the safety, orderliness and comfort of tourists' visits. On April 1st, Wudang Mountain Scenic Area released the travel guide for the 2026 Qingming Festival, fully implementing multiple service measures such as real-name online reservation, time-segmented entry, traffic optimization, and recommendation of high-quality routes, to help citizens and tourists enjoy a relaxing and pleasant Qingming holiday.

The guide clearly states that the Wudang Mountain Scenic Area has fully implemented real-name online reservation and ticket purchasing, as well as online time-slot reservation for the Golden Summit Scenic Area. Tourists must make reservations and purchase tickets at least one day in advance through the Wudang Mountain Smart Tourism mini-Program or official authorized OTA platforms such as Ctrip, Meituan, and Douyin. Both the scenic area and the Golden Summit are subject to inventory limits and will be sold out on a first-come, first-served basis. When entering the park, you can pass quickly by presenting your ID card or the QR code of the ticket purchase. There is no need to collect the ticket. The Golden Summit is a core and popular scenic spot. Tourists who have reserved a package ticket including the Golden Summit Scenic Area are requested to present their ID card and relevant discount certificates at the ticket checking point of the Golden Summit Scenic Area for verification and entry during the reserved time slot. During the Qingming Festival, visitors who have not made an appointment, have not arrived at the appointed time slot or have missed the appointed time slot will not be allowed to enter the Golden Summit Scenic Area.
In terms of transportation, the guide covers various means of transportation such as self-driving, high-speed rail, train, and plane. Self-driving tourists can directly reach the parking lot of the scenic area along the Fuyin Expressway. It is only 2.1 kilometers after getting off the expressway. Wudangshan West High-speed Railway Station is 12 kilometers away from the scenic area. It takes about 25 to 30 minutes by taking Bus No. 301 or a taxi. Shiyan Railway Station is 36 kilometers away from the scenic area. You can take intercity Bus No. 202 there. Wudangshan Airport is 25 kilometers away from the scenic area and there are dedicated buses connecting to it. The scenic area mainly relies on sightseeing buses and cable cars. Tourists can choose the hiking route in the direction of Nan Yan or the cable car route in the direction of Qiong Tai to easily reach the summit. The guide also releases the departure and last departure times of the sightseeing buses, facilitating tourists to arrange their visiting pace reasonably.

For different entry time periods, the guide recommends two classic tour routes: If you enter the park before 10 a.m., you can hike up and down the mountain along the Qiongtai Cableway to visit the Golden Summit. In the afternoon, you can visit scenic spots such as Nan Yan Palace and Zi Xiao Palace. After 10 p.m., you can enter the park and first visit Taizi Slope and Qiongtai, then take the cable car to and from the Golden Summit. In the afternoon, visit the Eight Immortals Temple, Xiaoyao Valley and other scenic spots. The guide also highlights seven must-visit spots, including the Golden Summit, Nanyan Palace, Zixiao Palace, Taizi Slope, the live performance of "A Dream of Wudang", Yuxu Palace, and the Light and Shadow Wonderland, which combine natural wonders, ancient cultural relics and buildings with new digital cultural tourism experiences.
Wudang Mountain Scenic Area has simultaneously announced multiple service hotlines including tourism consultation, scenic area services, complaints, cable cars, and sightseeing vehicles, and launched an online customer service wechat account to promptly respond to tourists' inquiries and assistance requests, comprehensively enhancing the level of tourism service guarantee during the holiday.
The scenic area reminds that during the Qingming Festival holiday, there will be a large number of people going for spring outings. Please make reservations in advance, travel during off-peak hours, choose green travel methods as much as possible, visit in a civilized manner, prepare valid identification in advance, abide by the time-segmented entry regulations, and enjoy a safe and orderly tour of Wudang.
