Although he shaved his beard and hair, he always wore a hat, a skirt and a robe, and thus was commonly called "Zhi Gong". The legends and records of the great Master Zhi Gong in the Wudang Mountain area have never ceased. The Tongzhi "Fangxian Annals" also records: "The Ya Wu Temple, located in the northern part of the city, was also the place where Zhi monks sat in meditation."

In the deep winter of Wudang Mountain, the cold wind is biting, but it cannot hide the hidden radiance of a thousand-year-old temple. In the middle and late Ming Dynasty, the monk Li Zhiguang crossed mountains and rivers and reached the Dayanwu Temple in Fangling, thus beginning his spiritual practice.
