Xu Xiake, born in the 15th year of the Wanli reign of the Ming Dynasty, left behind the geographical masterpiece "The Travels of Xu Xiake" with his lifelong dedication for posterity. In "Diary of a Tour to Mount Taihe", Wudang Mountain is even elevated to a new height.

This was a deep encounter between a "Xia Ke" and Wudang. In the Caojiadian of Junzhou, where "peach and plum blossoms are in full bloom, mountain flowers line the way, and the beauty is exceptionally charming", under the Wudang 樃 plum trees where "flower colors float in the air and reflect on the mountains, brilliant among the rocks", and in the nan rock where "the mountain winds half and stretches endlessly", Xu Xiake, with his brilliant pen, sketched out the myriad scenes of Wudang mountain.

This is a monologue and obsession of life. From the majestic Mount Hua to the majestic Mount Taihe, on a long journey of nearly a thousand miles, he was full of enthusiasm and walked with firm steps. Facing the perilous situation of "sudden rocks and dangerous rocks, and hearing the roar of tigers", he chose to be fearless. In the predicament of "the sun is already clear, but the sorrow is deep", he chose to transcend himself.

"Traversing a thousand mountains and lying in the firmament, I morning by the blue sea and evening by the green trees." Xu Xiake spent his life in the way he loved most, composing an immortal chapter: "Though I am still young, my journey across the green mountains is ten thousand miles."
