The worship Hall of Zixiao Palace also serves an important purpose, which is a place for Taoist Taoists in the Ten Directions Monastery to stay on board, so it is also called the Ten Directions Hall. According to records, Wudang Mountain became the center of Taoism in the Ming Dynasty. Taoists from all over the country came and went in an endless stream to hang elixirs. Therefore, the Ten Directions Hall was specially set up to receive the Taoists who came and went. Historically, the Quanzhen School of Taoism had the rule that "one should not take food for a thousand miles and firewood for ten thousand miles." As long as you hang the elixir in a temple of the same school, you can arrange accommodation and meals for a long time. However, the procedure of hanging the elixir is rather strict. There is a set of rules for how to lift the foot and start, how to perform the salutation, and what to talk about, etc. These rules are equivalent to today's exams to distinguish truth from falsehood. In the Ming Dynasty, the emperor divided Taoism into two major schools, namely Quanzhen and Zhengzheng. All the schools that mainly focused on cultivation and refinement were unified under the Quanzhen School, and all the schools that mainly focused on symbol and seal script were unified under the Zhengyi School. Since its establishment, the Quanzhen School of Taoism has advocated the unity of the three religions. Its disciples all follow the theory of the founding ancestor Wang Chongyang that "Confucianism, Buddhism, Taoism and Taoism meet, and the three religions always share the same ancestral tradition." Therefore, there is also the saying of "the unity of the three religions" in the Taoism of Wudang Mountain.
