Taizi Rock

Behind the Zixiao Palace lies the Zhanqi Peak, where tall and straight pine, cypress and cypress trees provide thick shade and the scenery is charming. Hidden among the green shade lies an ancient plank road from the Ming Dynasty. On the cloud ladder walkway, there is an important Ming Dynasty mountain gate. The three characters "Taizi Rock" are engraved on the stone on the gate lint. This is the Taizi Rock Mountain Gate. Entering the mountain gate and climbing the steps, one can reach Taizi Cave. Taizi Rock was first built in the early Yuan Dynasty. The environment here is peaceful and serene, with a pleasant climate. It is far from the mundane world and is an ideal place for cultivation and enlightenment. Therefore, there are relics left by ancient hermits and sages such as the Three Pure Rocks, the Seven Star Rocks, and the Alchemy Rocks. The ancients composed a poem to praise this place: "Prince Rock swallows Lion Peak, deep cave, thunder rumbles half the void." The black dragon goes to rain on earth, and the white crane comes to perch on the pine in the ravine. The sun emits golden rays towards the Five Elders, and smoke spreads across the jade belt around the Three Dukes. The seven-star flag flutters and the wheels descend, and sometimes the heavenly fragrance descends nine times.
