2022-08-20 23:32:13
Yin Hand One-Finger Zen is one of the highest martial arts practice methods in the martial arts world. Because when it is mastered and used in combat, its power is extremely great. The force of a single finger can penetrate heavy walls and strike points in mid-air to subdue a person without leaving a trace. Therefore, those who master this technique have always kept it a secret from others.
This practice has been continuously refined and improved by generations of inheritors, forming a systematic and complete set of techniques. Its practice involves both internal and external cultivation, the interplay of Yin and Yang, and the integration of practice and Zen. By practicing the inner meditation exercises to cultivate the strong internal energy in the dantian, and through various forms of practice, it is made to flow through the fingertips. The energy, strength and spirit are integrated, generating an awe-inspiring power. When the skill reaches its peak, one can even achieve the ultimate state of exerting gentle and soft force from the fingertips and striking people from afar.
I. Practice Techniques
The golden needle finger: The index finger is straight, the middle finger, ring finger and little finger are bent, and the thumb is pressed on the nail of the middle finger.
Golden spear finger: The index finger is straight, the first and second phalanges of the middle finger, ring finger and little finger are bent and brought together, and the thumb is turned inward.
Ii. Breathing Method
Inhale and exhale through the nose. For beginners, natural breathing can be used. After adaptation, switch to reverse abdominal breathing
When inhaling, the lower abdomen contracts inward; when exhaling, it bulges outward.
I. Inner Strength
1. The essence of the primordial qi
Posture: Sit cross-legged, with your hands naturally resting on your knees. Lower your eyes, press your tongue against the upper palate, relax your whole body, and calm your mind.
Practice: When inhaling, visualize the essence of heaven and earth entering the Zhongfu point on the chest. Hold your breath for a second or two after inhaling. Exhale again, imagining the essence of heaven and earth sinking to the dantian and filling it up, while keeping your mind focused on the dantian. Practice repeatedly for half an hour or longer.
Key points and effects: Highly concentrated consciousness, integrated with breathing. When the mind and breath are united, true qi naturally emerges in the dantian. After long-term practice, the internal qi condenses into a mass, is full and powerful, and can flow freely.
2. Arhats sitting in meditation
Posture: Stand with your feet slightly wider than your shoulders and squat in a horse stance. With both hands forming golden needle fingers, raise the straight arms in front of the body at shoulder height, with the palms facing down and the tips of the index fingers pointing forward.
Practice: When inhaling, imagine the essence of heaven and earth entering the body from five points: Baihui on the top of the head, Yongquan on the feet, and the tips of the index fingers on both hands, converging in the dantian. Hold your breath for a moment; When exhaling, the mind leads the internal qi from the dantian all the way to the tip of the index finger, making the palm warm and the fingers swollen. Each inhalation and exhalation counts as one session. Gradually increase the duration from five minutes to more than half an hour.
Key points and effects: The qi flows through the fingertips, without resorting to brute force. Use your mind to guide the qi, and breathe naturally without holding your breath.
After standing in a fixed position for more than ten days, you may experience soreness in your legs and general weakness. This is a necessary force change reaction and there is no need to be alarmed. After passing the level, the old strength gradually fades away and the true strength emerges, with an endless supply of energy throughout the body.
Second, cultivate both internal and external skills
1. Roman fortune-telling
Preparatory position: Sit cross-legged, with your eyes hanging down, your fingertips facing each other in front of your abdomen, and your palms facing upwards. Naturally regulate your breath, calm your mind and focus your spirit, then open your eyes and look straight ahead.
Practice:
- Inhale slowly, lift both hands to the Zhongfu point on the chest, and aim to lift the internal qi to the Zhongfu point. Hold your breath slightly.
- Rotate both hands inward to form golden needle fingers, then slowly push them forward, with the palms facing forward and the index fingers pointing upwards. At the same time, exhale, and let the inner qi flow along the inner side of the arms all the way to the palms and fingers.
- Slowly bring both hands back to the chest, secretly exerting internal force, with the index fingers as if pulling a thousand-jin heavy object. At the same time, inhale to draw the internal energy back to the muttony area, and hold your breath slightly.
- Rotate both hands outward into palms with the palms facing upwards. Press the front of the abdomen down and exhale at the same time. Let the internal qi sink to the dantian and return to the preparatory position.
Practice repeatedly, usually 36 times.
Key points and effects: Breathing should be closely coordinated with the accumulation and release of force. Inhale to accumulate force, and exhale with force reaching the fingertips. Long-term practice has greatly enhanced arm strength and finger strength.
2. Two Dragons Sailing Out to Sea
Preparatory position: Stand with your feet apart at shoulder width, assume a horse stance, place your palms facing each other with fingers pointing upwards at the dantian. Look straight ahead, concentrate your mind and breath naturally.
Practice:
- Raise both palms to the chest, inhale slowly, and imagine the inner qi rising to the middle of the muttony zone. Hold your breath slightly.
- With both hands turning into golden needles, the fingers rapidly thrust forward, reaching the tips of the fingers. At the same time, exhale, releasing the internal energy directly forward, and the mental energy shoots out infinitely from the fingertips.
- Slowly pull your arms back as if pulling a thousand-jin heavy object. At the same time, inhale and imagine the inner qi from afar being drawn back from the tip of your index finger and flowing along your arms into your muttles. Hold your breath slightly.
- When exhaling, place both palms in front of your abdomen with the palms facing upwards, and imagine the inner energy sinking to the dantian. Return to the preparatory position.
Practice repeatedly, usually 36 times.
Key points and effects: It refers to the highly synchronized insertion, retraction, breathing, and intention, the unity of form, energy, and spirit, and the cultivation of the power to impact external objects with internal energy.
Iii. External Practice (One-Finger Zen)
It is divided into three steps: beginner, intermediate and advanced, and is practiced step by step.
1. Basic practice methods
Lie prone with your body, keep your arms straight and your fingertips touching the ground. Stand with your feet together and your toes touching the ground. Keep your entire trunk and lower limbs straight and perform the exercise in coordination with your breathing and willpower.
As one's skills improve, gradually subtract the little finger, ring finger, middle finger, and thumb until only the index fingers of both hands support the entire body. At this point, the basic foundation is established.
Practice: Inhale and guide the internal qi to return to the dantian. Hold your breath slightly, exhale and let your mind guide the qi to flow from your fingertips. At the same time, grasp the ground with all ten fingers, imagining that your fingers are as hard as iron. Practice inhalation and exhalation repeatedly. Stop when you feel exhausted.
Key points and effects: Inhale deeply, continuously, evenly and for a long time; Exhale slightly faster, guide the qi with your mind, store it in the dantian and release it from the fingertips. Practice for a long time to generate qi and power.
2. Intermediate practice methods
Lie on your side, with your right arm straight and five fingers supporting the ground, and your left hand touching the side of your leg. Cross your feet and place them on top of each other, with your right foot at the bottom and your toes touching the ground. Keep your whole body suspended straight in the air. Practice martial arts in accordance with the law, alternating between your left and right hands.
Practice until the index finger of one hand can support the whole body for more than 5 minutes, and you have achieved intermediate proficiency.
Key points and effects of practice: The same as the beginner level. When exhausted, you can take a short break and then continue practicing.
3. Advanced practice methods
Stand upside down on one palm with all five fingers touching the ground. Keep your feet against a wall or a tree and practice the exercise in accordance with the method.
Step by step, until the whole body is inverted independently supported by the index finger of one hand, achieving a state of perfection in one-finger Zen.
Key points and effects of practice: The same as beginner and intermediate levels.
Auxiliary function
Stand facing the wall, with your index fingers touching the wall directly. Lean your body forward, and keep your torso at an Angle of 20 to 30 degrees to the wall. Perform the exercises, concentrate your thoughts, and follow the same key points as before. Do it several times a day and gradually increase the Angle of your body tilt as your skills improve.
Four. Hard Skills Method
1. Finger poking technique
Preparatory posture: Stand in a horse stance in front of a VAT filled with mung beans. Use your right hand to lift your breath and exert force until you feel an electric shock at your fingertips. Then, strike the mung beans in the VAT. If you feel exhausted, switch to your left hand.
As one's skills improve, successively subtract the little finger, ring finger, and middle finger, and finally practice with only the index finger using the golden needle finger. In the VAT, small round stones and iron sand were gradually added from mung beans, and eventually all the cultivation was done with iron sand.
Practice: Take a deep breath, and let your mind guide the internal energy to rise from the dantian to the muttony zone. Hold your breath slightly. Immediately, he forcefully inserted his fingers into the VAT while exhaling, releasing the internal energy all the way to the tips of his fingers. Withdraw your hands and inhale, guiding the air back to the muttony area. Exhale again and reinsert. Practice repeatedly until your fingertips feel warm, swollen and slightly sore.
Key points and effects: Eliminate distractions, focus your strength on your fingers, and avoid using brute force. The main focus is on training finger hardness, with a depth that can reach the point where fingers can drill through bricks.
2. Point attack power
Preparatory posture: Stand in a horse stance facing a wall, a tree, or a sandbag. Let your breath sink to your dantian, keep your mind calm and focused, and concentrate your mind on the object you are hitting. Stand still for a moment. When your right index finger forms a golden needle and you feel sufficient energy, start tapping.
Practice: Take a deep breath and aim to lift the qi from the dantian to the middle of the muttony area. Hold your breath slightly, press your index finger forward with force, and exhale at the same time, allowing the internal energy to reach the fingertips directly. Withdraw your hands, inhale and draw the air back to the muttony area, then exhale and repeat. Alternate between the left and right sides and practice repeatedly until the fingertips feel warm and slightly painful.
Key point: The force of the tapping should gradually increase from light to heavy. You must wash your hands with medicinal juice before and after each practice session.

V. Mysterious Skills
The "Yin Hand One Finger Zen Supreme Internal Power Technique" is dedicated to cultivating both weak and penetrating power. It is divided into three steps: beginner, intermediate and advanced, proceeding step by step. Once the skill is achieved, one can perform remote acupoint pressing.
1. Basic practice methods
A cotton ball the size of a fist is hung in front of the body, with the arm straight and the fingertips close to the ball without touching it. Stand in a horse stance or upright posture, concentrating your mind and energy.
When I first practiced fingertip tapping, the cotton ball remained motionless. Over time, from slight movement and shaking to the point where the finger pops out. Step back gradually and practice until you are a little empty from your index finger at a distance of 3 meters. The cotton ball should pop out with a sound, and you have achieved the primary level of proficiency.
Practice: Take a deep breath and let your mind lead the internal qi to rise to the middle of the muttony point. Hold your breath slightly, exert a strong force with your index finger towards the cotton ball, and exhale at the same time, imagining the inner energy shooting out from the fingertips to strike and move the cotton ball. Slowly draw in your fingers while inhaling, and draw the outward energy from your fingertips back into your body, along with the cotton ball. Exhale and strike again. Practice repeatedly until you feel exhausted. Alternate between your left and right hands.
Key points: Emphasize the intention without deliberately adhering to the path of qi. Integrate essence, qi, spirit, intention, qi and force. Qi will come freely, and force will be generated by qi.
2. Intermediate practice methods
Hang a copper coin in front of you and strike it with your index finger from a distance at close range in accordance with the law. When the copper coin moves in response to the finger from a distance of 3 meters, the intermediate level of proficiency is achieved.
The practice and key points are the same as those at the primary level.
3. Advanced practice methods
Light a candle in front of you and strike it forcefully with your index finger from a distance.
First, practice extinguishing the candle with one finger three meters away. After practicing through a white paper screen again, he eventually reached a distance of over ten feet. With a single flick of his finger, he extinguished the candle, leaving the white paper undamaged. He achieved the great accomplishment of advanced esoteric skills.
The practice and key points are the same as before.
