Since the founding of the Wudang Nei School by the Patriarch Sanfeng, it has been passed down for hundreds of years without decline. Through the inheritance and development by successive masters, they have comprehendered the essence and created numerous schools, countless routines, and a grand spectacle, establishing themselves as one of the major schools in the Chinese martial arts world.

Most of the martial arts routines in this column originated from the field research and collection in the 1980s, and some were personally practiced and performed by veteran martial artists. They are extremely precious and were kindly provided by Mr. Yang Qunli. We would like to express our gratitude to all of them here.

Some routines have poor picture quality due to signal attenuation caused by the long storage time of video tapes. Based on this, it is launched to showcase its unique charm.
