The main hall of Chaotian Palace

The main hall of Chaotian Palace is of brick and wood structure, with a hip roof style and a small blue tile roof. Its form is simple and elegant. It was restored with investment from the Hubei Provincial Government in 1991. After restoring its original appearance, in 1994, cultural relics workers of Wudang Mountain used this hall to arrange an exhibition of important inscriptions on Wudang Mountain. They tested the original stele, carefully replicated it and made these simulated stele inscriptions. People who climb to the Golden Summit of Wudang Mountain rest here and take the opportunity to admire and browse. Through these inscriptions, they can roughly understand the history of Wudang.
