A Brief Commentary on "The Legend of the Immortal" - A Brief Commentary on the Round Chapter

#Health-preserving ·2022-08-20 23:32:13

The highest reaches the nine heavens, the lowest reaches the nine deep valleys, the three talents' eggs guard, and yellow is the field of merit. This passage is described in the Ding Van style and annotated in the Xue Yanggui style. The Nine Heavens refer to the mind, which is like a clay ball. Jiuyuan refers to a gushing spring, which is located at the center of the sole of the foot. To the end, to the fullest; to the extreme, to the very extreme. It contains the technique of tracing back and following each other, which has an effect in both the heavens and the abyss at any moment. The Three Talents are heaven, earth and man. The three talents are like chicken eggs, and the human world is like the yolk. And it is said that the principle of "guarding" is to use the void as the furnace and the cauldron, and the three elements as the medicine. The key to blending and transforming is like this. Shangnote: This is to guide the light of the celestial realm, that is, to reflect the last light. Although the world is a false Dharma, its wonderful uses are boundless. The emergence and perfection of the esoteric Dharma are all established based on this principle. Therefore, Thich Nhat Hanh said, "First, one must arise and think, and when the thought appears, one should use the principle of emptiness to purify it. Then, it becomes an inconceivable great use and immediately leads to the fruit of Buddhahood." If one does not observe it with the mind, one will misunderstand the meaning of prajna and also miss the path of perfection and enlightenment. Gu De said, "At first, I had the intention to cultivate, and when I practiced, I did not want to. Even though I did not want to cultivate, I always appeared and never hid." This is the true practice of the Sudden teaching in the Huayan Sutra! "Emptiness does not impede wonderful existence, and wonderful existence does not impede emptiness." Is this what it means? The Dharma words of the Void: "The three elements are called the world, and my body is also called the world." Therefore, the world and the body can be separated or united." "The human body is a small universe, the heart is the sky, the body is the earth, and the mind is the human being. In this way, the three elements are one self. How can there be any distinction between the body and the world!" " Therefore, the sage of medicine in the world, when the body is treated, the world is at peace. Its ability to detect diseases and its influence, but the experience is only within one person, beyond the reach of heaven, earth, ghosts and gods. This is the meaning of the character "Dao" in the I Ching. What is its meaning? It's just a secret word. When it comes to the practice method, it can only be summed up in two words: "stopping the mind". How can one stop thinking? The only way is to neither chase nor listen to the Dharma. Just as clouds cover the vast space, the Dharma can only be listened to. The vast space is empty, and there is no way to harm it. The ancient sages did not say, "It is not the thought that arises, but the delay in awareness." Therefore, if one desires to pursue the great way, one must thoroughly examine all one's past experiences and observations, which are fragmented and all minor paths. As the saying goes, the Dharma is complex and difficult to achieve. The school of the celestial mind has neither 卦爻 nor jacks. It is clear from beginning to end, only adhering to the two words "no thought". It can be verified and accomplished, and when all is lost, the thought returns to one. But when the body and mind are mixed and reflected together, then the needs are mixed and transformed, and then the confusion is forgotten, nature will be created. One will naturally be in the morning and in the evening, and will naturally be in harmony with the stars and the tides. If one still follows the map, how can one's heart be united! How could thoughts be pure! Moreover, in Min Zhenren's "Yin Fu Xuan Jie Zheng Yi", it is stated: "If one is the highest and most superior, they settle down before the existence of heaven and earth and before their parents. Therefore, they have no functions such as Yin and Yang, the five elements, year, month, day, and hour. Once they are activated and their emotions return to their nature, they become a precious pearl. When they are sucked into a strange object, over time, they become one with the three talents, unseparated, and thus become a holy womb." If so, then the three elements are destroyed but I will remain. This is the esoteric cultivation technique of the Three Sovereigns era, not a well-known secret of the time of the Yellow Emperor. Only those who have heard it from their predecessors are like this. Moreover, Master Lu taught Wang Chongyang the "Yin Fu Zheng Zhi", saying: "To practice this way, there are only three steps: at the beginning, one enters the state of nothingness; at the end, one recognizes the state of nothingness; and at the end, one returns to the state of nothingness." This is the meaning of retreating and hiding in the secret. It all comes from nature, because there is something that cannot be done but is done. The Great Way of the celestial immortals is a complete scripture. All of this is sufficient to serve as verification for the "Heart Commentary", and thus it is specially mentioned. I am in the midst of it, blending and transforming into the universe, knowing when to return and when to retreat, having no successor but not the first. I, the true self, am where and where to guard. "Zhong" refers to the yellow middle, and it is called "zhong" because it is self-formed by the true self. Therefore, it is described by its character. By strictly following the practice method, one can blend in the world in the yellow realm, but follow the essence of the dao. One thought is void and still, still and void. One does not dwell in any place, nor is one mixed with knowledge. One creates the 炁 of the sky descending and the 炁 of the earth rising, transforming the non-into the tai. The initial test of blending is like this. Therefore, it is called the Kunqian of blending. Return is to return to the original, return is to return to the root, the later is the acquired, the earlier is the innate, knowledge is perception, just like clarity. Only with clarity can one be sincere. Sincerity leaves no room for return, sincerity leaves no room for return. If one returns in this way, there will be no successor or predecessor. It is the divine effect of nature. In terms of the essence, energy and spirit, it still belongs to the function of the Inner Chapter. Shangnote: This verse is mixed in the yellow world, but following the essence of the Tao, with a single thought of emptiness and stillness, it can naturally return. Once it has returned, the later will naturally transform the earlier. This is the function of the Inner Chapter. Kechun (pronounced as "sheng") Kechun (" zheng "), without the earth or the sky, always true, always true, mysterious and profound. "Overcoming" means "capable", "pure" means "single-minded", and it can be used to describe it. It should be pure or whole, with a sticker for verification. The Dao of the earth is even, while the dao of heaven is strange. It is strangely Yang and occasionally Yin. At this point of blending, pure Yang is formed without any trace of Yin remaining. Therefore, it is said that there is no earth and no heaven. This is the creation and verification of the "Outer Chapters". How could it be easily achieved! Note: Constancy is called constant, and non-falsehood is called truth. This is because what is done and what is accomplished is constant and real, and real and constant, achieving the ultimate in effort. And it is verified that the creation is true, thus it is said to be "mysterious beyond mystery", because it has reached the ultimate of the infinite. From the very beginning to the end, it all comes down to the two words "return and return". When it comes to the ultimate, it returns to the essence of the Dao. Shang Note: This still follows the previous statement. If one returns to the realm of practice and makes further progress, reaching the state of being single-minded and complete, then the Yin will be completely exhausted and the Yang pure, and there will be no earth but not heaven. The so-called single-minded and complete piece is also the single-minded and one-minded yoga of the four Yogas of the Judas Hand Seal, which is already the attainment of the Outer Chapter. The ancient Elixir Classic has the saying of "seven returns and nine retreats", which means "seven" and "nine". The first is to indicate that the process of returning and retreats is from Yin to Yang, and also to show that the process of returning and retreats is from coarse to fine, from shallow to deep, with a certain course and time limit, and cannot be accomplished overnight. Therefore, it is warned by words such as constant, true, and mysterious. Continuous and dense, every path is perfect. When my skills reach the ultimate, I am a Buddha or an immortal. Constant truth is called continuous, and true constancy is called dense. Dense and continuous, it is the creation of utmost sincerity without interruption. How could the Dao be incomplete? Therefore, the master concluded, "The Dao is never perfect." The merit is the merit of returning, the transcendence is beyond, the ultimate is the way, and the extreme is the ultimate of the infinite. I am the true self, the core of which is the body outside the body as mentioned in the "Outer Chapters", without substance but substance, just like the purple ground and golden body of the Buddha and the true seed of the Xuanzong. Therefore, it is said that "I am the Buddha and immortal". Shang's note: "Continuous and dense", it always means that the practice of emptiness, tranquility, constancy and sincerity should rise and fall without interruption! Xi and Huang are on par, and the primordial origin is on par. Xi refers to the Fuxi clan of the Emperor, and "Qi Qu" means to travel together. Yuanshi is the ancestral name of all existence and all non-existence. The meaning of standing side by side and side by side is a metaphor from the previous text. Scholars should be cautious not to be fixated on appearances. This means that when it comes to Shun, it is also a matter of bestowing upon him. Min Zhen said: The first four chapters are to show his disciple Xue Yanggui that the celestial immortal's mind learning is complete, so it is called the "Perfect Formula". Xiao Gen Shi. Shangnote: The achievements of the disciples taught by the master in this Minzhen body are no less than those in the previous two chapters. To put it briefly, they merely return to the essence of the Dao through the transformation of light and harmony, emptiness and tranquility, and constant sincerity. However, they must be so extensive and concise because of their respect and importance. Therefore, they do not hesitate to be broad and brief, so that the later students dare not look at them easily and have the intention of letting down the supreme and excellent skills passed down by the ancient sages. This is the same meaning as the classification of Buddhist esoteric rituals such as broad, medium, brief, simplest, outer, inner, esoteric, and very esoteric. Good fortune and completeness!!
